Hardly a surprise, and its been discussed on these boards before with regard to DCL, but this is definately something to bare in mind for the future.

    London Escape?

If you really want to experience the UK, you avoid London or dont do London until the very end. Same with Edinburgh really-for such a small provincial town, it has a sense of itself far in excess of its reality, and prices to match. The true British experience is the try some of the Northern...

    London Escape?

I wouldnt pay 2 grand to visit London on the itinerary ABD have, especially not for the period of time they are giving you-its like the ultimate stereotype tour (you could sum it up as `Tea and the Queen`, and as we all know, thats all there is too the UK 🙄 .........), and expensive whilst your...

    HOW CAN THIS BE?

I can imagine its a cost thing. Water parks seem like they would be an expensive operation to keep running at the best of times, never mind if your main revenue generators, the actual theme parks, are running at less than half their normal capacity.

Changes rumored to be coming Disney restaurants upon reopening

On the subject of buffets like Boma, i think Family style dining where you get a platter selection would actually be a great option Pandemic or no Pandemic-at Buffets there is such a thing as too much choice, whereas if someone else is making hte selection for you, well, thats always good for...

    HOW CAN THIS BE?

Well, consider the way some public swimming pools work, you are given a coloured arm band and if you are seen in the pool after a given time, you are told your time is up and you have to leave. Disney could do something like that-give people an arm band at time of entry and as soon as that...

    HOW CAN THIS BE?

Water Parks probably cost a fortune to run, so it wont be financially viable to open them until the them parks are at capacity. That said, the easiest way to allow reopening of the water parks would be. 1-virtual lines. Id be amazed if this wasnt being set up already as its already being used...

    Water Park Openings?

What is everyones best guess about when the Water Parks will reopen and in what manner? Personally i think there is more likelihood of the theme parks closing again before that happens (i mean seriously, what was Florida thinking-no wonder there is this second wave given the attempts at a semi...

This is a bit of a thread revival, but is anyone interested in this? Maybe share your pictures and say if you are looking for any/have some to trade? WDW pennies are my main collection but I do have universal Orlando ones are well. Even a few Disneyland Paris ones as well I think Ideally there...

Can WDW or DLR Guests Sue Disney if they contract COVID-19 after a visit?

If they can, they shouldn't. I mean, can you sue Disney if you catch a cold in the parks? Of course you cant.

All Star Music `Calypso Pool` upgrades suspended due to complaints.

I thought this might be of interest to the board. My family of 5 are booked for 2 weeks at Music next October, coming over from the UK. Just today, whilst browsing online for any updates or recent developments, i clicked on the All Star Music page on the Disney website, to see that the Calypso...

I've been considering doing it for a few years now, so would anyone have a rough idea when the dates for the 2019 D23 is likely to be announced?

    Universals next big IP?

GoT could be made 'family friendly ' at the expense of butchering the story,,but if Universal were ready to embark in an overtly adult centric project, it would be ideal. Of course, they could try something our at a future HHN.

    Universals next big IP?

O 10 or 12 years ago, when it was still relatively fresh in peoples minds, sure. These days, not so much. The Hobbit was relatively underwhelming, and certainly never generated the buzz of the original movies.

    Universals next big IP?

I've made comments to thi effect in the comment of the latest Dis Unplugged Universal Edition, but what do we all think is the next big IP Universal will use, or should attempt to acquire. Personally I agree with what Pete said which is that after the D23 announcements, Disney has just won the...

    Any pressed penny collectors?

I was wondering if there are any other pressed penny collectors. I used to collect them as a kid, and still have a book full of them, and after a WDW visit this month, seem to have unexpectedly become a collector again, coming back with about 60 of them! I would be interested in speaking to...
