    ** June 2020 Check In **

We cancelled our trip a few weeks ago, but it wasn't until today that I could bring myself to visit The Dis to confirm it. I'm sad, but know it is the right thing to do. ♥

Third US case of coronavirus confirmed in OC

FWIW - I live blocks away from the hospital in WA State where the first patient in the US was diagnosed. I walk my dog by the hospital every week and was there the same day. And we are all living our lives like normal.

    ** June 2020 Check In **

So excited - just finished booking all the details for our June trip - 6/20 to 6/24! Staying at the Tropicana Inn and Suites :)

Which one is milder? Rocking Roller Coaster or Expedition Everest

The launch at the beginning of RnRC is what really messes me up. And you go upside down. EE is my favorite ride in all of WDW.

    Expedition Everest drop intensity?

I 100% agree with everything mentioned here!

    TS suggestions in Epcot

Our fave in World Showcase is Teppan Edo. We've also enjoyed Via Napoli (though it was super loud in there!) and Hacienda de San Angel. Also, San Angel Inn! If you don't need to be in World Showcase, then Garden Grill is a must do. We really enjoyed the food and it is fun to be in a...

    Homecoming or Polite Pig?

    Homecomin' is delicious!

Animal Kingdom at night, worth it?

Was thinking the same thing about Expedition Everest. Love it (and Pandora!) at night!

    Please ease my fears!

You can absolutely have a good time! We usually do a general outline of which parks on which days (based on crowd calendars and EMH) and then books some FP+ for park days. We also usually book at least one table service meal each day and then as we get closer to the trip, move things around as...

Living With the Land - Am I missing something?

We also love looking for the hidden Mickeys throughout the plants and in the fish tanks! We go on LwtL every trip because we've rarely seen it with a super long wait, it is relaxing, and educational. We have even done the Behind the Seeds tour (it was our first WDW tour and figured we couldn't...

The Wave or Trail's End Brunch for a Late Breakfast?

I think The Wave is one of the best kept secrets of WDW dining. We have never been disappointed there! Yum!

New to parks, where to eat at Animal Kingdom?

LOVE Flame Tree BBQ and Satuli Canteen. Yak & Yeti for lunch or dinner is really yummy. Tusker House is good, but $$$ for the quality of food and character interaction, I think (though we don't have kids, so YMMV).

    Convention tickets

They seem to be pretty strict on the time.

Going every Sunday all year - planning strategies for AP?

My husband would like to be a WDW bus driver. It is his forever goal! We have friends who moved to Orlando 10+ years ago and one of them works in Guest Relations at DAK. We try to visit once every year or two and the desire to move to the Sunshine State grows each time. If only we didn't...

Only 2 park days - thunderstorms predicted this Friday. WWYD?

Love to hear that you had a great time! We've had multiple rides on POTC during rain storms. Those unplanned moments are fun!

    Candlelight Processional with John Stamos

I would adore seeing him!! Jealous!

    Favorite TS

The Wave was a recent birthday dinner location and we were very pleasantly surprised how much we liked it! Nine Dragons, Teppan Edo, and Raglan Road are perennial favorites. Homecomin' is now a must do in Disney Springs.

This may be an obvious question about Disney gift cards but I gotta make sure

We do the same thing (wrap the most recent receipt around the GC being used so that I know the balance). Disney GCs are how we budget food and souvenirs for our Disney trips!

Max Pass - Add every day or once for trip?

You can purchase it each day once you have scanned your ticket to get into one of the parks.

My experience waiting for Slinky Dog last night! Sept 8th

I was there last yet that same week after Thanksgiving for a work conference at the Swan & Dolphin. The resorts felt very quiet and the parks and night were a bit sleepy, too. I hope you have fun, it is a great time to go!
