Every time I try one with the dipping sauce I wish I'd just gotten a regular one... maybe if we made it down more often I'd need variety, but the classic is still the best!

I fall in to the 'do I really have to buy fancy clothes for a couple hours every other year on a cruise' demographic, personally. :rolleyes1 I mean, I went ahead and did, but boy was I mad I only got 4-5 wears out of my very nice dress I paid a lot for when my waistline finally went thicker...

Good news for us... I'd been tempted to delay our flight north a day to be able to see it this July, but decided the heat wouldn't be worth it. Not I really have no regrets! :rolleyes1

It's not so much the thoughts (I mean it is, in a way) as it is those pics entering the online world. My friends and colleagues regularly blur their feet from beach pics and similar if they go online. Non negotiable. A little different than day to day but... I could see folk not choosing to wear...

I'm not a sugar free person nor do I like soda so choices are slim... I mostly stick with water, iced tea (unsweetened), or hot tea if its winter time. The sweetest drink I can take is Starbucks' matcha and the drinks at Trader Sam's but those are a treat, not a drink IMO!

Its not the waiting, its the standing and standing and standing for hours... even healthy people suffer from it ere long. (but that's what we sign up for when we choose to go, so.... we suck it up!)

My husband always eats his and I set mine aside for later. Oddly there are only a couple left when it’s time to pack them up… :rolleyes2 In all fairness though I’m as bad as a squirrel when it comes to stashing food away... Often if he doesn’t eat it I forget it’s there. ^^;

Galapagos is amazing..! I hope I'm wrong but I'd go sooner rather than later. Overfishing, climate change, and just more tourists in general may affect it in a nearer future than the others will be.

A lot of folk also chose not to sail as it is over Christmas, and in December when the water and weather is colder. The price alone does not tell the full story.

Or longer depending... it can take up to two days when you are outside the major urban areas. When my husband forgot a charger in one hotel we couldn't get it at the next as it was again just one night; we had to wait until the one after.

We do that when we take our camelbak to the parks and then refill with ice water from QS. When its hot out keeping it cool long enough isn't the worry... it's where do I get more cold water. Maybe I just drink more water than y'all...? One bottle is not going to last me all day! :blush:

For me, if this was the last trip for a number of years then I’d rather put it off and have 3-4 nights instead of 2… unless dapper days or season of the force would entirely make up for the shorter trip. For me, it wouldn’t, but for you…?

The problem we have with the Alaska cruises is they turn around at Skagway, have been doing essentially the same itinerary since 2012, and they're relatively expensive comparatively. If they could get a spot at Glacier Bay or do one ways to Anchorage we'd happily sail with them again... but I...

Oh in 90 degree weather lasting more than an hour or two isn't a worry! I did refill my plastic one a couple times when we were in areas I couldn't buy a new one but the water wasn't cold, and there weren't too many places to do that anyway.
