Evening folks. We are having our first stay at GF arriving on June 22nd. How soon can you try and reserve a poolside cabana for a day? Is it the same 60 day window as dining and do you have to phone ? Many thanks

That’s great thanks, I’ll definitely change to water/courtyard view. I had a room several years ago above the smokehouse, service area and really didn’t like it. As a very light sleeper it wasn’t for me.

Just back from an excellent stay at CL and managed to book a bounce back offer for next year. The category I booked is a resort view. I assume the room categories have changed lately ? I seem to recall courtyard, woods, standard etc. What exactly is a ‘resort’ view ? Is there perhaps a better...

Can a US travel agent call and book a bounce back offer on behalf of a client ? I’ve just returned to the UK and it’s a bit of a pain calling the US from here. I wish I’d enquired when I was still there. Thanks

Totally opposite for me. CM’s great, even in the face of having to deal with certifiable idiots.

So far, WL far superior CL experience than Poly by quite some distance. Chilled lounge, much cleaner, great staff, great food, better bar/wine service. Not even close IMO. Not seen one single guest in a swimsuit hogging a table of 4. Lovely stuff 👍

Shout out for the Pinot noir and Malbec as well 👌

Given some of the other behaviour, I’m amazed none of the guests haven’t turned up at the lounge with their own huge plate they brought in their luggage 🙌

Don’t think it’s an age thing. The majority of poor behaviour was from people that looked around my age or older ( I’m 52) couples would routinely take up a table for 4 when a double was available. A couple would come in every day straight from from the pool carrying a towel, throw the towel...

A cheese and bacon quiche, potatoes and sausages one day ( quiche was very nice] spam, scrambled eggs and oatmeal one day and I think the other was ham, scrambled eggs and oatmeal. The breakfast is quite good, again though you, have very small side plates which makes it awkward

It’s a shame as it has a lot going for it. Location, staff etc. Our last CL stay was at WL and it was a completely different experience. Off to Trader Sams so can’t complain to much 👍

We can usually go with the flow but the sense of entitlement from some guests here is pathetic. Stayed a few times club level but not for a few years. Some of the treatment to the staff is disgraceful. A few more red wines and I may be forced to ‘comment’ 😂 staff are first class and so is the...

5 days into a 7 night stay at Poly and very much doubt I’ll be back. Lovely room but the lounge is a complete zoo. The behaviour of some of the guests is something else, every sitting I’ve been at has been a grim lesson in human behaviour 😂🙈 Off to WL on Wednesday and hoping for a better...
