    Tusker House - Minnie?

No, Miss Minnie is not at Tusker. She lets Mickey handle Tusker with Donald, Daisy (who ROCKS the Safari wear!) and Goofy! She somehow makes her way to Adventure Outpost, as the OP stated and is delightful there.

New Experience - Quick Solo Visit

On my annual solo trip, I concentrate on the rides/ attractions that don't interest my family. There are parts of EPCOT that I love, while my family has less interest... the Canada film, Norway's Stave Church / Exhibit, Italy's wine bar, and other items like that. It scratches my 'itch' for...

    DAS changes coming WDW

Here's the bottom line, for me..... I would do almost anything if my adult son did NOT qualify for DAS, but he does. Because he does, we are able to go to WDW where we would not be able to without DAS. Therefore, I am very grateful for DAS on my son's behalf. He is unwelcome in many parts...

Rope drop HS from boardwalk on 10k morning

WALK! It's the best, most beautiful, walk at WDW.

    Coral Reef Table Request

It has been our experience that you can 'request' that, but that you will wait until a table that suits your party opens up. You'll also be behind everyone else who requested that. You risk a long wait. The good news is that there is good viewing of the aquarium from all the tables. We had...

    Which would you choose?

You'll still get to see all the Christmas ambiance in MK and elsewhere, so I'd choose KTTW, if that has been a goal of yours.

Rope Drop MMRR or TOT? (Staying offsite, No EE)

So, my answer has much more to do with WHEN you are going, than what ride to choose. June/July can be brutally hot/humid. For THAT reason, I would choose to do MMRR earlier in the day as sometimes that line can have a good portion of it in uncovered areas. It can get quite uncomfortable...

Too ambitious? Adding on Disney Cruise for a newbie WDW and DCL family

The cruises out of San Diego are worth your consideration. We've done cruises on both coasts, so I can report that our Disneyland/ DCL Wonder out of San Diego was delightful. We have also done WDW / DCL cruises. They are also wonderful, but your thought of your little being 3 y o and...

    August trip no park days

Coronado Springs has a Spanish Mosaic activity on Mondays at 1pm and Sangria University at the 3 Bridges restaurant on Sat or Sun at 1:30. They also have a painting class, but I have not attended that one. If you go to the Coronado Springs home page on MDE and look at the recreation tab, I...

Nice Date Night, not buffet or fixed price?

Completely agree. Beautiful atmosphere (you can see the fireworks from the restaurant ), amazing food (...and some small plate / tapas appetizers that my DH and I share often. Very good service. Hope you have a great trip!

Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

More than likely, they will have texted your room number to you. If so, just head to your room. Magic Band or card will unlock the door. Sounds like you'll be happy for the rest! If for some reason they don't text you the room number, just stop at the front desk and they'll help you...

    Recent experiences at Jiko?

Oh my.....Jiko is an amazing restaurant! I have never had a bad experience or negative food experience there. CMs have been wonderful, ....the bread...oh, dear....the bread!! And the Boar tenderloin....heaven! They have South African wine, which is a favorite for me, but not everyone...

AYCTE Opinion Question- What do YOU think?

Sorry. That's theft. Plain and simple. It's one of the reasons that the toppings bars went away in Pecos Bill's and Cosmic Ray's. It eventually pushes prices higher. ...and everyone knows what is and is not appropriate, even for aycte. It doesn't mean All You Can EVER Eat.

For those who take yearly trips..how many park days?

We have a special needs member of our family as well. We go yearly....7-8 days, but 2 park days, then 1 day off, 2 park days, then 1 day off...etc. That way, everyone gets a chance to do what they need to at the parks, but has downtime to regroup. The 'off' days are also a good time for us...

Food quality on Dream vs. other Disney ships

We just sailed the Dream in November and did not experience what you are citing. We have never been disappointed in our meals on board any ship (we've sailed all except the Magic). How unfortunate that you had that negative experience. I suppose there could be many contributing factors that...

    Parade at MK

I wouldn't say you can see it even marginally. Perhaps some of the high floats/characters, but it is often congested in that space with people standing and blocking the view. And, as previously noted, the umbrellas block a lot of the visual field as well. I wouldn't be a prime spot for sure.

What do you love about the Dream?

Theming, cast members, easy layout to navigate, the theatre size, the Sail Away party, Pirate night.... mostly everything!

    San Juan Airport

Two hours is plenty of time. We had very easy check-in. The agricultural check thing was more cumbersome (I'm short!) than anything else. We laughed about the strict "No pork products" signage. Even bacon? They can't mean bacon! HA. Otherwise... the seating was sparse in our gate...
