    Rides with a Cane

Thank you! Now you've made me wonder if I should try a folding cane again. What brand did you find works well?

    Traveling with two mobility devices

What a great tip about using velcro strips to make sure nothing gets damaged! Thank you!!! Every time I bring the transport chair the detachable leg rests fall off in the cargo hold. They fold back and snap into place for storage and if I wrap with velcro, they should stay put even with the...

    Rides with a Cane

I guess we never have run into you! Honestly I've never seen anyone with a cane or walker that I can recall. Of course when you aren't looking for something, you don't see it right in front of you. I'm glad the CM's are on top of things for those of us who can't. I don't have a folding cane...

    Rides with a Cane

Thank you, that's what I thought. I can handle up to 15 minutes of standing and walking so that should work out. Never noticed anyone with a cane at the rides though and unsure about the process.

    Skyliner, ECV, & Riviera Resort

If there a walkway between the next stop and Riviera, we may try that instead. Dh had a stroke and moves really slow on the scooter. I don't think he would be comfortable backing out of a moving car.

Southwest gate to Mears Connect or towncar pick-up.

Thank you. As long as they can get us to curbside, we'll make it ok. We only do carry on so no baggage claim.

Southwest gate to Mears Connect or towncar pick-up.

Thanks, I needed to know if they'd push us through to curbside. Not worried about size of resorts or parks. We've gone twice a year since 2002. He's used to using a scooter but it will be my first time. Broken ankle full of hardware and hoping this will be the only time I need a scooter...

Southwest gate to Mears Connect or towncar pick-up.

I use a transport chair for hubby in the airports but this time I'm physically unable and we will both need to be taken by wheelchair to Mears Connect or a towncar pick up. Will Southwest agents take us that far or do they only go as far as their little monorail? I can walk with a cane, but...

    Sharing Things When Checking Out

I usually give to Bell Services when they come to collect the bags but I have walked to the housekeeping door and let them know I have items I'm leaving in the room for them. Either way works. By the way, they have taken opened items too (I've asked if they wanted them) as we usually have a...

    Sharing Things When Checking Out

We give our extras to Bell Services when leaving at BCV. They use the food/drink in their break room. At least that's what they told me.

    DAS - each visit

Advance DAS not important to us so it works for me. Love that Disney gives us the option!

Scooter Parking in a BCV Studio

Good advice! I'm sure that would be quite the surprise to have a low/dead battery in the morning.
