Couldn't agree more this!! DH & I have been going 1 to 2 times a year since WDW opened - conferences twice a year +personal travel. This year we are going down April 18 (day after Easter) for 5 nites with Grandsons 9 & 11 for our final WDW journey. Just too much hassle for older folks...
They sold two of their courses (Eagle Pine and Osprey - my hubby's favorites) to Four Season who combined them into one just a few years back. So, I don't see them going in the "build a new one" direction any time in the future.
October 27 - November 2 - Post 50th anniversary celebration (Sep 14th) - he golfs every day and I do the parks - get together after lunch for afternoon and evening activities - YIPEE!!!
DH has been golfing @disney over 25 years - some courses no longer there. Hardest course is Magnolia - best bet is Lake Buena Vista or Palm - as long as you play at a steady pace. Do not agree with Magnolia as your first choice - longest & hardest.
