DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

One thing that would be of help to me, and maybe many others, would be the ability to register more than 30 days out from beginning of trip. If DAS is changed to the point where whatever accomodations would affect trips, it may be too late to alter or cancel some elements, (air fare for...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

And sometimes, those DAS times go unused - often, after booking one, I can just never get back to use it. Glad they now have the CANCEL option so if I know I'm not going to use it, I can open it up for someone else. I suspect many others are in the same situation where we plan for something...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

Personally, I don't mind the advanced selections going away... quite often, I end up skipping or missing them due to current circumstances at that time. Trying to reserve them early when I don't quite know how my day is going to play out feels like I'm holding on to a spot someone else may use...

I truly appriciate both you, @SueM in MN and @lanejudy, for your dedication to this thread and the other DIS threads you monitor and maintain. You have helped me in countless ways and enabled me to have great Disney trips. Without DAS (or whatever accommodations are deemed appropriate for my...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Returned from Beach Club 6 night stay yesterday. We had great accomodations, however Housekeeping was hit or miss. We waitied a bit for our room, but got in fairly quickly. Each day, Mousekeepers were there at different times, (I suppose because the number of total "turnovers" varies each...

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

Just an observation on wagons in the parks. We just returned from a week in WDW. There were many wagons. I have no idea what the ratio is, much smaller than stollers to be sure, but this trip I did notice more wagons than in previous ones. Who was using them and for what reason? No idea...

New buses coming in early 2024 - ECV restrictions

The driver does it for you. I am here now, and while I haven't been in one yet, I've talked to the drivers of the buses I have been on and they all confirmed this. One other note, the new system can not handle a standard push wheelchair as the arms that hold the chair in place would crush...

Bounceback Information and FAQ Thread - 25-35% off BOUNCEBACKS ARE BACK for 2024!

If there is a SPECIAL OFFER available for date that would work, and you don't have to figure in air fare (or maybe look for least expensive) and plan only QS, a no-frills could of days (even without going to a park - taking in the non-park stuff like resort pool, DS, Boarkwalk, etc.) couple of...

Bounceback Information and FAQ Thread - 25-35% off BOUNCEBACKS ARE BACK for 2024!

I guess it depends on how much you spend to get/stay there compared to how much you could potentially save.... If you are close and can drive, then, heck yeah, do it.

I do too. The first version with the dancers in costume. That was really great... following ones, not so much. But SOMETHING is better than NOTHING. (Usually... 😜)

I thought I read somewhere that a large number of existing buses are being taken out of service due to age, and many of the new buses will be replacing them. Don't remember which article I saw... may one of the earlier ones on this thread.
