    How far do you tow?

Driven to Disney twice from NJ, First time drove to Ga/Fla line the first day and than proceeded to the Fort. Second time I drove straight through and it was ok, but rather stop. A lot depends on when you leave etc, because traffic can be mentally draining. Basically depends on the driver.

Best tips for a family that has never camped before...

I'm thinking that usually a rented camper is fully equipped meaning bathroom with shower and/or tub combo so no need for COMFORT STATION USE. Everyone might require some "rv toilet flushing learning" but a modern camper or motorhome are made to be like living in a house, only on wheels. No...

Best tips for a family that has never camped before...

Your kids are a little older, but the first piece of advice I always give is if they have never showered before, have them practice at home. It never fails that there is always a child screaming bloody murder and a parent getting frustrated trying to bribe their child to shower at a campground...

    Driving to/from NJ

Going North, depending on traffic etc, South of the Border would be about 8 hours. You could probably hit Rocky Mount, NC area depending on what time you leave.

Ozark Trail 6-Person ConnecTent for Canopy

Yes, we have used ours for years, my brother has the side pods as well for his. We also bungee another canopy to the front and cover with a tarp in case it rains so water doesn't drip down between canopies. We use the larger tent pegs and have had no problems with winds. This pic is from...

    Group Camping for 55 people

First place I would start would be to make sure the group area is available for when you want to go. I know there is a group that uses it during Thanksgiving every year.

    Hybrid TT in August?

That's incorrect, right from the Disney website. It's popup campers and tents that pets are supposedly not allowed. Pet-Friendly Policy Furry friends are welcome to join your family’s camping adventure as long as the following conditions are met. All pets must be kept on a handheld leash that...

    Hybrid TT in August?

I don't know an exact temp, but I wasn't sweating. Closing the beds every day is a possibility, but you have to fold up the mattresses up and exert more work opening back up which would make you hotter. Another thing you can do is cut and put reflectix in the tent end windows. I have known...

not Disney related, but need RV info (NY to FL)

South of the Border is a decent stop and inexpensive, would definitely recommend. Do they know where the Mason Dixon Line is? Its still cold in that area in January. LOL You can probably get by without having to use toilet in RV because of the rest stops along the way, so I wouldn't really worry...

    Hybrid TT in August?

We have the gizmos for our tent ends and we also have a tower fan to help move the air. We have had no problems camping in 95+ temps in the summer. We have a Jayco X23F and have had no problems with it.

EasyWDW.Com Reviews Mickey's Backyard BBQ at Fort Wilderness

Category 2 isn't bad at all. It was easier to get back to the food and bar and my girls still went over and had fun dancing. The meet and greets were around the outside, so we were closer to them.
