IMO, Disney resorts is all about theming. Refurbs are killing that. Not speaking for @WilsonFlyer , but that’s my opinion.

Was it a timeshare?? It’s a marketing thing. First year of DVC it seemed special. After that, I always thought it was a bit silly. Now that I live in Florida, it seems totally stupid, almost offensive.

Why would it be too frequent to visit the same places?? We have a 1/2 dozen favorites, and we visit one of them every couple of weeks (we are local). That means a repeat after three months (average). That is not too often for a favorite imo.

Forget the legalese… If Disney gets it back in XX years, it’s very hard to say you “own it”.

Points are only a representation of owned real estate. IE: ..004% of 34C, represented by 125 points (example only). If several sells at a sold out resort, then someone wants to purchase 350 points, what does their contract read?? .004% of 44b, plus .001 37c, plus .007of 95b… Get my point...
