Anyone at the theme parks now -- Is Hurricane Dorian affecting crowds?

Magic Kingdom was dead this morning. The walkway through Adventureland was actually pleasant.

    Thanksgiving Crowd Pics

We have been here since Wednesday. It has been crowded, but manageable. We knew when we planned this trip that we wouldn't get to do everything we wanted, and it has been great. We have spent time at attractions we don't normally do and have enjoyed looking at all the decorations.

    Jedi training

When you get in the park, turn left after you walk down Hollywood Blvd. You'll walk directly in front of Hollywood & Vine and 50s Prime Time. Keep going. You'll see Indiana Jones merch on your left. Just past that are the sign-ups.

    Kona Cafe

Kona Cafe is one of my favorites. Like the poster above me said, though, if you're doing it just for the Tonga Toast, head to Capt Cooks. It's downstairs in the Poly. Kona does have some other breakfast items that are really good, though!

    Recording Everything?

Yep - if you want to record, that's awesome, but holy cow, I do not want to see your face glowing all the way through the Haunted Mansion. And enjoy the washed out pictures you took on Frozen with the flash on. This is such a pet peeve of mine.

    EPCOT Fast Passes

We will also FP Mission: Space and, oddly enough, Spaceship Earth. Its wait times can get a little long, so it pays off sometimes. Another choice would be one of the character spots.

When is Jedi Signup on Passholder Event Days?

I don't think it was completely full -- we were surprised when we saw a sign out that said there were still openings. We hadn't planned to do it because we assumed it would have filled up by the time we headed in to the park.

"Eating breakfast in your room" to save money and time

We do bagels, cereal, etc. Someone showers, others eat...switch, repeat, etc. We just sit around the room.

When is Jedi Signup on Passholder Event Days?

I will also add this - we were at HS yesterday and signed up for Jedi training around 10am for the 11am show. There were still plenty of spots available for the rest of the day.

    Free Cutting Board for AP

Yes. Go to the festival center on your first visit. They'll check your AP card and scan your MagicBands. After that, visit Epcot 3 more times on separate days (you don't have to go to the festival center each time). On your 4th visit, head back to the festival center to get your cutting board...

    Low crowds AK

Yes -- World Showcase was packed! And like you said, the booths were fairly easy to navigate, but dang, the sidewalks were another story. The one at the chocolate and cheese studios heading towards Canada was especially bad. It's so narrow. I definitely needed a drink after getting through that...

Water Pouring Out of Spaceship Earth

We were on it when they shut the ride down. Little eerie to be riding with the lights on and no soundtrack! As soon as we got off, CMs were lined up to usher us all outside. A few minutes later, we heard sirens and found out it was the fire dept. They were suited up and went in.

Here now (9/1/18) and wow its low crowds!

We just arrived this morning. Got to the Poly around 9:15 and headed over to MK and got in several things before we got our room location text. It was busy, but it definitely was manageable. We have a PPO ADR at Garden Grill in the morning, so I'll be interested to see how the crowds are at Epcot.

Thanks! I did order some water shoes for my toddler. I refuse to play "Find the Flip Flop" with her all afternoon while we're there. :upsidedow May go ahead and get the rest of us some too.

    Water Park Footwear

Hi! We are heading down in a few weeks and will be hitting up Blizzard Beach. I haven't been since I was maybe 10, and my husband has never been. What kind of shoes do you guys wear in the water parks? Water shoes? Flip flops and hold them on rides? I have Chacos, but you can't wear anything...
