    Online Vs Phone Reservations System?

No. If you've booked through a travel agent, the travel agent will need to make the modification. Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

    Online Vs Phone Reservations System?

The inventory should be the same. The problem is that once you've viewed a room online, even if you don't confirm through a booking, that stateroom is temporarily removed from inventory. So if your TA tries to go back in and grab it, it will show as not available. Their online systems...

How Far/Many times can I bump out my Dummy Cruise?

This. With an addendum. This is the CURRENT policy. Disney is within their rights to change the policy. (Think about when they gave SBC for onboard bookings based on Castaway Club level and modified it to being based on length of sailing only) There's no indication they'll do that. Just...

When do you get cruise docs?

Cruise documents are sent via United States Postal Service. I believe that's irrespective of where you are. I believe the update that I heard was that even documents for international guests are being shipped via USPS. I sailed August 11 this year. Our documents were sent June 29. By the second...

Looking at the dream but need a Stateroom to sleep 4 adults?

Not to mention, unless it's a particularly small adult, I can't imagine anyone being comfortable on the upper berth. My 60-pound daughter was uncomfortable on the upper berth.

    Dream 4-night OR Fantasy 7-night ???

Another vote for 7 nights. You'll feel like you've just gotten settled when you have to get off the 4 night.

Cruise with one day WDW pass

I haven't done a cruise with 1 day stop in Port Canaveral. However, never having visited and having a 5 year old, I really think you'd want to focus on the Magic Kingdom. That really is the center of the Disney experience for most kids (and a lot of adults, too). It's my understanding that the...

Me too! And there's only one cure. Alas, I don't think my health insurance covers a cruise! ;)

December St. Thomas excursions with 7 yr old boy

My sister did this excursion with her 8 year old and 5 year old. The 5 year old said he loved it, but my sister said he spent next to no time in the water. The 8 year old, however, LOVED it. My sister and her husband also loved it. They couldn't say enough good things about it.

FYI: Shutters CDs now include boarders ... :(

THIS!!!!! I agree with this a billion percent! There were several photos I liked, but I'm NOT willing to pay their prices with such inflexibility.

    Dream - 04D rooms?

Depends on the location of the room. My sister and I had 6584 and 6586. We were between two lifeboats, and could see straight down to the water. :)

    Dream - 04D rooms?

Except the 4E. 4E is basically a cat 5 with a huge verandah.

    Cell Phones during the cruise

Verizon does not cover the US Virgin Islands under domestic plans. A bit of overkill, I know, but I totally removed my SIM card when we left Port Canaveral. I put it back in when we docked in St. Thomas, and removed it again when we left. I was able to use the camera app, read my books...

    Cell Phones during the cruise

This is correct. We had to move to airplane mode because it kept picking up the signal from the British Virgin Islands. They wanted to charge $20 per MEGAbyte. With an M - not a G!!!!! :scared1: Took a screen cap:

    Cash account

Gratuities will be charged to your stateroom account on embarkation day. They will be $12 per person, per night. So a total of $84 per person. You can prepay them to avoid that big charge hitting your account on day 1. If needed, you can adjust the amounts as necessary. Since you'll have...

Some advice regarding Shutters from some lessons learned last week

I'm not a big fan of Shutters, either. First of all - the prices are just ludicrous. Yes, it's a business. Yes it needs to make money. Yes, you have to pay for licensing of the characters/logos, etc... But $13 for a print that would cost me about $1 at Walgreens? That's a 1,200% markup...

    MCO shops

You may want to stop at the main entrance with your purchases. That way, you can get a bellman to help you with your purchases. If you park in normal airport parking (and there may be a separate lot for hotel guests, I really don't know) - you would have to pay for one of those Smarte Carts...

    MCO shops

No issues. You can come and go as you please. Never had a car, so I can't comment on that, but there is a separate entrance just for the hotel. If you use Google Earth/Bing or any of those satellite imagery services, when you look at the Eastern side of the main terminal, you can see the...

A review of the Fantasy (August 11 7-night Eastern itinerary)

Your experience had been our experience in the past. I really don't know why all of a sudden, having an allergy was a culinary death sentence in the main dining rooms and with room service. We DID have that same experience and at Palo and Remy this time. At Palo, we got the brunch walk...
