It was a little different than my other practices. I was always able to move on without pre-selecting my group. This time I had to select myself too before I could go to next screen.

Well, that really sucks. Is that the only day you tried it? I did double up, but on both days I called nobody mentioned that you can’t double up. I had two different people and neither mentioned that you can’t have the same FP. I would hope that if this is a policy that they at least would tell...

I’m trying to mentally prepare myself for the crowds too. I think staying at the contemporary will help. Walking distance from MK will be a lifesaver after fireworks. Hope your trip goes smoothly. Super excited for NYE in Disney!!

Sounds like we have the same plan. Have you done a split stay before during that time? We plan on having Bell Services move luggage and then take monorail over to Epcot on New Year’s Eve do a couple of rides with FP then go to BC and check in.

I’m super excited to be at Disney for New Year’s! We are staying at the Contemporary 27th-31st then moving over to Beach Club the 31st-January 4th. Plan on doing MK on 30th, then Epcot on 31st. We have been to Disney many of times but never during the actually Christmas and New Year’s crowds...

Is anyone else having issues with their fp for your regular ones booked when you booked your extras? I can’t change or do anything with them now for 3 days. I’m not in my 60 days yet but I could change times, attractions for a couple days after booking though. Now I can’t do anything.

Wow, that really is awful. Sorry to hear of your troubles and the way they handled it. Hopefully they made it right but that doesn’t change wasted vacation time that can be very precious!
