    Hojo questions

We visited a few weeks ago and the reservations were still a thing. They are easy to book online but you have to have the reservation code (not to be confused with your confirmation code). We had one day where they were sold out because it was hot, but there are always no shows and if the people...

OMG ... It was seriously packed today!

I will say that despite the crowds this past few days, I had zero issues with mobile ordering. Never waited very long and even hit a few spots that weren’t offering it and still got my food right away. Had a few prime reservations pop up we snagged, including 2 trips to Oga’s with groups of 4...

OMG ... It was seriously packed today!

I can concur that yesterday was awful and today is miserable. I am a person who can always have a good time in the parks and just make it work, but it’s bad today. So many people, navigating is just gahhhhh. We didn’t rope drop, but we were in by 8:20. By 11:00 it was so bad we already wanted to...

Anyone Want a Carnation Cafe Reservation?

I also just now cancelled a Carnation Cafe ressie for this Sunday, March 13th at 3:20pm for 4 people. I've been using the app Stakeout to try and get an Oga's ressie and was finally successful, unfortunately it was at the same time as CC and I've never been to Oga's, so it was an easy decision.

    graduation picture location ideas

I think that wishing well area (Snow White Grotto) near the castle is a great location. Maybe even Rivers of America/Tom Sawyer Island (if it's open), there are lots of cool pockets out there. Also, one in front of the Monsters University door at DCA would be fun.

The app currently says there's a 45 minute wait for LITTLE MERMAID?

I live in Northern CA and all the public schools here have the week off. Not sure about other areas. I miss slow February's at DLR, it was always my sweet spot.

Does park hopping often hit capacity at DL and DCA?

Part of my group hadn’t committed to tickets yet for our Mid-March trip and now they’ve had to buy hoppers instead of single day, 1 park tickets just to make park reservations as they only had DL available to book the week of 3/13-3/17. Something might have opened up, but then it might not have...

How difficult is it to add guests to a GCH reservation?

Oh no, I’m sorry. I’ll be manifesting big rooms with beautiful views to open up for both of us soon!

How difficult is it to add guests to a GCH reservation?

I called this morning and got someone in less than 5 minutes. Unless you have 3 children, you should be fine adding them no problem. I just made my own similar rookie mistake for a GCH reservation this morning. A reservation popped up for our March dates this morning so I snagged it as quick...

    Disneyland Good neighbor hotel help

I completely agree with this. If this is a rare trip, I personally would pay the premium for onsite. I know i gave ideas for better value offsite spots, but my preference is always onsite. The only reason I skip it is if my group is too large or the price is too much (for me and I what I...

    Disneyland Good neighbor hotel help

Yes, we walk from there. If I recall, it's about a 15-20 minute walk, but it's not bad at all. If I can get the Disneyland Hotel at 300-ish a night, I'll usually take it for a 3-4 day trip. I won't pay over $400-450 for the Grand and even that is too much IMO, but usually the cheapest rate I've...

    Disneyland Good neighbor hotel help

I would say that on site is worth it, especially for your first extended trip. I've stayed on site more than I've stayed at good neighbors because I like a nice room, convenience and value. I won't pay insane amounts for on site, so if it's reasonable, I'll splurge. That said, the closest, most...

1st timers-how many park days? hotel?

I agree 3 days is sufficient, but 4 is ideal. Since you're traveling with a teen and not small kids, you might not need the extra stops in Fantasyland and younger rides. Re: The hotel, I know the go to answer is the Grand and I agree, but I would not count out the DLH, especially if the price...

What’s the best affiliate to buy Disneyland tickets?

UT also offers refunds for a small 5% fee if anything comes up, which is great peace of mind. I pulled this language from our recent purchase of 3-day, 1 park per day tickets. This paired with the discount is why I finally felt comfortable buying from somewhere other than directly from disney...

***Official DLR March 2022 Check In Thread

Finally coming back 3/13-3/16 after 3.5 years! So excited as so much as changed since Oct 2018. I thought I was hitting a sweet spot before spring break but it turns out that was not true, lol. Between villains night, food/wine and springs breaks I didn’t except for areas nearby, it’s going to...

    Space Mountain and Matterhorn

I think SM in Disneyland is less jerky than DW, maybe it's the different style seating. Matterhorn is the worst ride ever. It's so jerky to the point of painful. I complete agree with the poster above me. Last time I worried my daughter would get jerked around too much, so I put my arms forward...

    Dapper Day outfit question

I can't tell you the number of women I see in those yellow Minnie heel slippers by the end of the day, lol! A couple of times I really envied them and considered it myself.

    Dapper Day outfit question

I've tried just about everything over the years while attending dapper days. Flats usually make me look/feel too stubby while wear full midi skirts or dresses. Keds were the most comfortable and were cute with the full dress I wore for my profile pic (dapper snow white). Another great option I...

MK/Fantasyland “Early Morning Magic” (EMM) (Thread Now Closed, See New MK EMM FAQ Thread)

I just wanted to say thank you everyone for their advice and help getting us to MK the morning of our EMM on our very first WDW mini trip! We went last Tuesday the 20th and it was fantastic! We did manage to get all 12 of us out of the house by 6:39AM (were shooting for 6:30), but we hit a snag...

    Flights of Passage

I get sick on most motion simulators and it was fine for me. Although, I took the advice I read here and took bonine about an hour before and also put a couple mints in my mouth right before it started. There was one point when I had to focus on a stead object as the sensory overload was too...
