Cancellation due to change in covid protocol

Our DU TA was unable to get refunds for our concierge, now non concierge bookings. DCL will not allow cancel without penalty due to the original bookings being made before covid. As usual, DCL is not clear or consistent.

    Concierge Gratuites

We tip the stateroom host/hostess more, as we book suites. There is more to keep tidy and clean, so we appreciate them more. As for concierge staff, we used to tip cash to the lounge servers, bartenders and food prep. With this new suggested tip for the lounge, we will probably reduce what we...

Applebee's using gas cost to pay people less.

You think they are paying $15 per hour for restaurant staff in Lawrence, Kansas? Possibly in Overland Park or Kansas City, not likely in Lawrence. The franchise operates close to 50 Applebee's in the Midwest, not 50 in Kansas. The position that the emailer held did not control restaurant...

    Concierge class and COVID

The other option is to have your TA book a "dummy" reservation, moving your current reservation to a far off date. You could continue to do this until you are able to sail with all you wish to include.

Except for a "roped off" seating area, DCL offers no presail perks at the ports. refreshments would be a nice addition.

    Concierge over your bday

We have found that it varies from cruise to cruise. Your cabin steward decorates the stateroom, so they have flexibility on what they do. Years ago, before the concierge lounge was established on the Wonder, we returned to our stateroom to find a "cake" created from Mickey treats. This was Rod...
