Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

Not is only a very niche activity, you need to rob a bank to afford their prices. I know water is expensive, but $14 for a pot of tea (ok so it serves 2 ) will be close to $20 after tax and a tip. Add a piece of cake for $15 or $30 if you are 2, and we are getting into the ridiculous range. You...

Any current benefit to declining Mousekeeping?

I don't understand the logic behind this statement. If someone is so worried about being in a room with someone else, why would anyone go to any of the parks or any of the resorts? You might be able to social distance standing in line for a ride etc., but you cannot social distance walking...

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Just wondering, why wouldn't they offer you the same type of room, or maybe a one bedroom at the Boardwalk Villas? Did you even ask? In any case you would be paying the same rate as you would at Club Level, without any of the Club Level benefits (food, drinks, etc).

Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Change is inevitable, but in the last few years we have seen Scott become a Minnie Van driver, Pete and Linda retire, Anita get moved downstairs, and now Jackie is going to retire. Except for JJ, Joe, and Lorenzo, all the long term BW CL cast members will be gone. If you are a first time visitor...

Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

Florida has now closed all stand alone bars because of the spike in Covid 19 cases. You can still get alcohol if it is served in a restaurant setting.

    Resort Housekeeping

With non DVC resorts now only offering "light" cleaning every other day ( I assume beds will not be made) the big losers out of this besides guests who will be paying full rate but not receiving full services, will be the housekeepers. They obviously will reduce the number of housekeepers...

Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

So while SAB will be closed guests of the Yacht Club / Beach Club will be able to use the Luna Park Pool. With social distancing who knows how difficult it will be for registered BW guests to find a spot, now they need to cope with an influx of people from other hotels. Makes you wonder how...

New Strategy for Deciding Which Park on Which Days?

I am sure that no one has an answer yet, but what if I get a reservation to go to lets say Epcot in the morning, stay there until the afternoon, and then decide to go back to my resort room at the Beach Club to relax. At 6 pm I decide I want to take the short walk to get back into Epcot to spend...

Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

Here is an update to my previous post on BW Club Level staff for those that are interested: Jackie, JJ, and Joe will be working the front lobby starting on June 14, joining Anita and Linda. As Lorenzo is considered "hospitality" and not concierge, he will only return when the club level reopens.

    Cast Member Theme Park Admission

Prior to Covid 19 cast members were allowed "free" entrance to the parks, and I think they could also bring family members a certain number of times. Given the new restrictions and the "virtual " park admission policy, does anyone know or has heard how this will affect cast members gaining...

Disney's BOARDWALK INN Information & Questions

If the reports of club level being closed when the resorts open up are true (at least in the short term), I wonder what will happen to Lorenzo, Jackie, JJ, Joe, etc. They can't be transferred to other resort club levels, and there are only so many positions available to work in the lobby. What a...

Four Seasons Disney opening June 1?

Rack Room rates in July are $600 and up for the smallest room with an obstructed view. So after Fl. state tax, room tax etc. you are looking at $700 per night. Breakfast for 2, nothing fancy, orange juice, omelet and coffee will set you back close to $65 with tax and tip. Not saying it isn't a...

How do you think social distancing in resort pools will work?

I don't understand your comment. The difference is that the original post said that you can't get the virus when you are in a pool because the chlorine "kills it".

How do you think social distancing in resort pools will work?

If someone who has the virus is in the pool close to you, and they cough or sneeze in your direction (not on purpose) it won't do you much good no matter how feet of chlorinated water you are standing in.
