Quick update - 24 days later and I now have all 7 nights (December 2 - 9) at a two bedroom at CC. The last night I needed, which I had waitlisted, just came through today. I did not end up needing to borrow any points.

We have a 100 point resale contract at Copper Creek and just bought 2x150 point contracts at VGF2 first thing on March 3rd for a total of 400 points.

Yes you would. If you ever sold one of the contracts, you would lose your blue club membership though.

I actually would like to own there too someday to have a shot at the Kilimanjaro Club rooms. Then I would have ownership at all of the resorts with those several stories high, breathtaking lobbies (and their massive Christmas trees).

We got an unexpected but very pleasant surprise this morning. We received our welcome home email from Disney yesterday and our points loaded today. There are an extra 89 points there banked from 2020 that we didn’t know about! We just need to use them before April 2022 which should be doable...

I also just came back from the US and used the $40 Shopper’s antigen screening test to get in to the US and it was accepted no problem. I had to get a PCR test done to return to Canada though.

I asked my friend (the seller) to check again and, sure enough, she missed it. It was in her email dated July 13th. So we just lost 10 days for no reason. Ugh!

If you buy the points this way, do you still qualify for the discounts/incentives at 300 points? If yes, this definitely makes a difference in how I'm going to proceed with buying direct.
