    Late Fall 2020 Free Dining

I think its the opposite, that revenues are going to be down and they are going to give discounts to get people to go.

    Wait Staff Disappointment

I am the spouse in question and I felt the need to weigh in. This isn't a "confusion" issue. Ignore Walt Disney World for a moment; last year I did a short term (3 month) assignment in California at a different location. I moved 1 husband, 2 kids, and 3 cats to California for the summer...

Airplane seat selection with young kids

Just do like I do and put his name on that seat when you do seat selection... Stacy

    Not So Scary Halloween

Whoa whoa wait a minute... the 20 adults without kids paid the same amount you did and have the same right to see the characters as you do. DH and I are leaving tomorrow for a "no kids" 5 day trip (our 3rd). We are going to MNSSHP and while we dont do the characters I will be standing in line...

Anyone else completely priced out of the buffets at Disney now?

This is why we get the Deluxe Dining Plan every time we go. We pre pay and dont have to look at prices. Stacy

    Lockers outside of park entrances

Epcot has some, next to the camera shop; we just used them yesterday. How is the rest of your luggage getting from one hotel to the other? Stacy

For Us, Toy Story Land Was a Dud

My skin is the color of a peice of paper. I can't do "grab a drink and move along" even with super duper sunscreen. Most of the rest of the world isn't used to hours out in the Florida sun. The shade would help keep people from heat exhaustion. I'm not suggesting a bubble with air...

For Us, Toy Story Land Was a Dud

We had our first experience in Toy Story Land today and couldn't agree more. Add all the complaints below to the fact that the map on the app isn't kept up to date on the actual routes and we ended up walking in a huge circle because it tried to route us through a "Pardon our dust" wall. And...

    Forecast has me down

Wait, what? So you mean it called for rain and it rained... You had dry weather every day except for the fact that it rained every day.... That's like saying you stayed home all week long! Except for those 8 hours a day you had to work.... Stacy

    Some disturbing Disney pricing info

Okay; ignore automotive and just take the CPI (Consumer Price Index) which has increased 245% since 1984.... so overall the cost of the "basket of goods" has increased more since 1984 than Disney World prices. $46 in 1984 to $129 now which is 180% increase; MUCH MUCH below CPI increase. This...

    Reservations through Open Table

Our problem is the opposite. We tried to get a reservation for the Edison for Friday Nov 2. There was nothing on Disneys website but we got a table through Open Table. Stacy

    Some disturbing Disney pricing info

You do understand that it's not Disney Worlds fault that minimum wage hasn't kept up with inflation right? In 1982 the average cost of a Chevy was $9,370 which was 2,797 hours at minimum wage of $3.35. Now the average price of a Malibu is $23k which is 3,172 hours at $7.25 federal minimum...

    Split stay questions

Well, we are doing a split stay right now. We are at Pop Century and will move to AKL tomorrow. I now no longer care about the kids but the parents. Yes, AOA is newer but here the bed squeaks horribly, the faucet in the bathroom is on the verge of breaking, there is only one sink, we can hear...

    Mission Space while Pregnant?

My first thought was "I didn't think Mission: Space had reproductive organs... much less was female." Stacy

    Split stay questions

It would be disappointing. Other than the theming (if you are planning to spend the majority of the time in the room) you lose out on so much. Better pool, mono rail, the cavernous lobby, the views... all of those things are MORE what two 2 year olds and 1 ten year old will enjoy. Stacy

$15 per night for no mousekeeping at FOFQ

Exact same here. Coming back to a freshly made bed, towels and the soap display is what makes it a vacation. If I wanted to come home to an unmade bed and laundry I'd stay home Stacy
