I believe on the staff name tags it will state their country of origin. Usually getting a calling card with good rates to the home countries of your favoured staff members is the thing to do.

Generally you can delivery your FE gifts at any point during the cruise before the final day. ( You wouldn't want to try to deliver gifts during debarkation obviously! ) This often works great because you'll usually end up receiving things all through the cruise!
