How did we do? It was a very long day!

Highly recommend riding Tron at night. Felt it was a better experience with the exterior lighting.

How did we do? It was a very long day!

Just got back from a week at Disney during Easter break with a group of 14 (3 families) and did 5 days in the parks. One day at each park with a special day in the middle. The special day was a gifted VIP tour for two of the families at Magic Kingdom and my family received special...

    Road Trip Planning

Leaving in a few weeks for a road trip to Charleston, SC from CT. Wondering what the majority of road travelers do. Do you: A) Figure a departure time and just throw the ending destination in the NAV and drive and stop as needed. B) Figure a departure time and plan all your stops and follow a...

News Story: Has the cost of Disney World become unaffordable for the average American family?

Cost is one thing but its the planning that kills it for me. Somewhere along the way I went from loving the planning it to dreading it. I think after a few cruises we found our new happy place. Now the only time I visit Disney is when I visit my friend in FL who is a club 33 member. lol

My Slow Divorce from Walt Disney World

For us, the amount of planning involved with booking a trip just sucks the magic right out of the whole vacation.

Skyliner just for fun - timing

Parked at the Riviera this weekend and used the sky liner to visit Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Very quiet in the afternoon and a great way to get around.

    Disney MagicMobile

Thanks! I don't believe the ticket will be linked. I am visiting the parks with a friend who is a club 33 member so the ticket is one of her perks she is extending to me. It's been a long while since I've been to WDW so I'm a bit rusty on all the new changes. lol

    Disney MagicMobile

Hi all, Heading to FL this coming long weekend and plan to hit WDW for a day either Saturday or Sunday, (trying to figure which day will be less crowded). Sounds like my ticket will be a guest relations when I arrive at the park. Is it super simple to add the ticket to MagicMobile once I have...

Juneteenth set to become a federal holiday in the USA

This is a great idea to have as a federal holiday. HR just informed us that it has been added to the company holiday calendar. That now gets the holiday calendar for my company up to 17 paid holidays. But who's counting... 😁

Would you go on a cruise summer?

Yes, planning on a family cruise April break 2022. Whole family is vaccinated and figure that is enough time to sort out the whole pandemic/cruise issue.

Hoping to see fastpass come back!

It's been a while. FP is the old days of grabbing paper FP with a return time and FP+ is booking your rides 60+ days before arrival? Also, is FP+ not being offered currently? Thanks

Another Tipping Thread. These Are Always Fun

I’m a very very generous tipper to the person who scans and bags my groceries at the grocery store. Oh wait, that’s me. Lol

    Picking a Vacation

We have family with a home in the White Mountains and visit the area a lot both in the winter and summer. Spent last summer in North Conway so not sure they would want to repeat. Wonderful area though.

    Picking a Vacation

Trying to plan a vacation for August 2021 and now that the kids are a little older DD 16 & DS 13 its tough to find a vacation everyone is interested in. Just a few years ago we would say vacation and the kids could have cared less where it was to. Anyone else have this issue? I spoke with...

Royal Caribbean reverses, won’t require passengers on U.S. cruises to be vaccinated

Bottom line is the cruises have the right to set their guidelines and we have to decide for ourselves what risks we want to take. That is the beauty of a free society.

Royal Caribbean reverses, won’t require passengers on U.S. cruises to be vaccinated

Next cruise for us will be for our kids April break 2022. Hopefully by then we will know if this plan is a success or failure.

Royal Caribbean reverses, won’t require passengers on U.S. cruises to be vaccinated

My issue is that proof of vaccine is an index card. Ya, that can’t be falsified. My kids got their 2nd vaccine yesterday and they handed us a piece of paper and told us to add the information to their card. So asking for it or not is just a CYA for the cruise and little protection for the...
