I think the problem as many are pointing out isn't the lack of or reduction in social distancing in and of itself, but what it will mean for park capacity allowances. If they reduce "official" distancing that means they can likely increase park capacity so whether or not people follow the rules...

Yes, this absolutely helps. Thanks for re-explaining to my oft-confused self. :-) I was just mixed up about whether or not those two parks were always sharing or just doing it sometimes. It sounds like the latter, which I've seen as well, especially during mid-day so that makes sense.
