I agree. I found them to be disgusting. I don't know why people were so crazy about them. While they look "nice", I just saw them as a germy thing laying on the bed.

We choose 3rd party insurance for every Cruise. While we may never need it, it is good to have. The cost is minimal compared to any expense we could potentially incur due to an unforeseen circumstance.

We save time and park at the port for convenience. I miss the 40% discount for certain hotels, but we are still parking at the port.

Also keep in mind that flights can be delayed/cancelled for mechanical reasons as well. I fly a lot for work and have experienced many of these situations and weather was not involved. It is just not worth the chance.

My first cruise was a Spring Break cruise on the Dream and I did all my selections at midnight on the first day that we could do online check-in. We were able to get the first PAT, our excursions and Palo Brunch on the sea day.

We use a rolling carry on suitcase and that is what we use to bring back our souvenirs on the way home. Not a big for us to roll it around for at max 2 hours until our room is ready.

We just sailed on the Oasis this past February and we still will cruise Disney over RCCL. We weren't that impressed.

We were in a Jr Suite and while they were not connecting, they were adjoining and we could go from room to room through the balcony. Just have to ask the stateroom host to open it up for you.

The earlier the better. The reservations fill up as you get closer to the sailing date. We were able to make our reservations in December i think for our February cruise.
