Transportation to parks from Good Neighbor Hotels at DW

Thanks for the replies. It just seems that guests at GN hotels are at currently at a disadvantage to use their Early Entry benefit when the parking lots are not open as early as they used to be, and if the shuttles don't operate early enough.

Transportation to parks from Good Neighbor Hotels at DW

Sorry, I didn't really look at the date. I found this thread via search, and didn't think it would help to start a new thread when there already was one covering the topic.

Transportation to parks from Good Neighbor Hotels at DW

Are any of the Good Neighbor hotels currently running shuttles that bring guests to the parks in time for early-morning entry? Specifically, a shuttle from the Holiday Inn in time for early-entry to DHS. This is for family that is joining us for one day at DHS. We will already be on site...

Walt Disney World Date Based Ticket System FAQ • Read First Page

Thanks for all the replies. So the banner on UCT now shows, "lock in old ticker prices before they're gone", and with at least one on of my Disney FB groups reporting significant ticket price increases, I checked on the WDW site for updated ticket prices, expecting to see substantially higher...

Walt Disney World Date Based Ticket System FAQ • Read First Page

I am looking at tickets for a trip that covers late August/early September (first WDW trip since 2017). A couple of weeks ago I checked ticket prices for specific dates, and made some notes. At the time, I determined that buying directly from WDW using discounted GC's from Target was slightly...

Disney Very Merriest After Hours Party just announced!

This is an "After Hours" event scheduled to start at 9 PM, so the MK "early shut down" for this event will not be as early as it was for MVMCP, which was 6 PM. Looking at the "Boo Bash" Park Hours on the web site, MK closes at 9 PM on nights when "Boo Bash" starts at 9:30 PM. This would lead...

Rumor about potential major reduction in operating hours for WDW if Disney Asia parks remain closed due to coronavirus

I believe that comparisons to the 1918 flu pandemic like this are not really valid, because, in 1918, the science behind viruses and the flu and the way it is transmitted between humans was not fully understood. The influenza virus was not isolated until the 1930's, and the first flu vaccine was...

United policy change - when today, really means tomorrow

The original SFGate article in the first post, as an option when flights are rescheduled with a difference of 2-25 hours from original booking, which means that the 15 months only triggers in certain circumstances.

United policy change - when today, really means tomorrow

I would guess so. Probably depends on the terms at the time of booking.

United policy change - when today, really means tomorrow

The other element of note here is that if you don't like your new flights, and cancel the trip, you now have 15 months to use your ticket. Previously, all tickets were only good for 12 months from the original booking date.

New ‘Magic Happens’ Parade to Premiere on Feb. 28, 2020 at Disneyland Park

Are they any scheduled live streams of the parade tomorrow? That 6 PM PT parade is a great time for Prime Time viewing on the East Coast

Just returned from Newport bay- 5 days. Very disappointed

I think that BadPinkTink (BPT) was out of line with some of her comments, and making unfounded assumption about the OP. - OP claimed only that DLP Staff was "rude and disorganised", so it was safe to assume that OP expected the staff to be "courteous and organised", and I find that to be a...

Rumor about potential major reduction in operating hours for WDW if Disney Asia parks remain closed due to coronavirus

If any consideration is given to closing the US parks, it will be based on business concerns/$$$ first, and public health concerns second.

Rumor about potential major reduction in operating hours for WDW if Disney Asia parks remain closed due to coronavirus

It's funny how so many people here defend other Disney business decisions, but seem to not understand this one. WDW is not an independent entity. It is part of a larger company that needs to balance out all of its operating income. If Disney needs to squeeze more income out of WDW because...

    A Thousand Questions!!

I recommend making your Eiffel Tower Reservations ahead of time. Regarding the Louvre, a full day might be a bit much for the younger kids. Last summer in Paris with my 13 yo & 6 yo, one Art Museum was enough to realize that it was not a family favorite; we focused the rest of our sightseeing...

    Price increase -- It's Here! (2/11/20)

From what I can see, the Tiers only apply to 1-Day tickets. If you are buying multi-day tickets, than the Tiers are not an issue. Regarding MP, I agree that $20 is a lot of $$$, especially with a family of four on multi-day tickets. It would be nice if they offered a discount for multiple days...

Our Generation Doll Vs. American Girl?

Here is a vote for OG! I have a 7yo DD who has and loves her OG dolls. My wife made the decision to go the OG route instead of AG because of the $$, and we have not regretted it at all. We visit the AG outlet in Hershey regularly (after visiting the Disney Store Outlet for deals on DLR merch)...

If they are offering buses from the TTC, they are usually quicker.

Bronx man sues NBC Universal over ‘unlimited’ soda refills at theme park

Any limitations on these unlimited drinks deals is ridiculous considering the profit margins involved. The price of all fountain beverages sold is mostly pure profit. I am sure that if Universal removed all restrictions against sharing/time, etc. they would still make a ton of money from selling...
