So I booked a last minute trip to the Andaz Papagayo peninsula in Costa Rica. I know there was some chatter about this hotel awhile back (which inspired me to start looking and book!) We are here now so if anyone has any specific questions let me know!

I’ll share ours! We flew in and out of Liberia. Rented a car and drive down to La Fortuna. We stayed in the Casa Del Rio air bnb and did the hanging bridges with a guide (the guide had a telescope and spotted so much that we wouldn’t have seen!) we did white water rafting one day and pure trek...

I didn’t thinking driving there was difficult at all. It just takes longer to get everywhere then you might think and you want to watch out for pot holes. Also Waze is better than google maps. We stayed in an air bnb in Arenal that I loved. I think if you google Casa Del Rio you can find it...

All our tours were down in Arenal so I’m not any help there. We did do the mixology class at the Andaz and that was so much fun.

We had a rental car, but we honestly didn’t use it the entire time we were there. My 19 year old told me last month that’s his favorite resort we have been to, but he loves monkeys so that might have something to do with it! Now I’m feeling like we might have to go back!

I really liked the Andaz. The beach isn’t super great, but pools are amazing and it was fun to take the boat and see the animals and play at the other beach. It’s a really pretty resort. We spent half our time in Arenal doing all the activities: zip lining, white water rafting, rappelling, horse...
