Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

We just returned Saturday night. We had a great time. I was concerned from some of the reviews that I had seen but our experience was great!! We ate table service each day (1 meal) and felt safe each time. In Sci-Fi the cars were close together as always but they were only seating certain...

    Transportation/ Arrival Times

We are going to WDW next week and are so excited. In my party we have a wheelchair (kid) and a scooter (my friend broke her ankle). We are staying at Pop. Anytime we go to WDW we use the Minnie Vans to get to the parks because they make getting there easier with the wheelchair. This time...

    Reservation Number of Guests

What about the opposite issue? I thought we were only going to have 5 but another person is joining us for 3 days in the parks. This is 3 reservations. Since we were an odd number of 5 is 6 usually a problem?

    Marvel Hotel

We were planning on going to DLP this year but, of course, have to put that off. We are hoping to go next summer. My son has his heart set on the Marvel Hotel. Is there any rumors as to when this might be finished and ready for booking? Is it close to the parks? My son is in a wheelchair so...

    Wheelchair or scooter?

Thanks for your replies! We have our own scooters/wheelchair so won't need to rent so age isn't an issue. It isn't about a mama bear mentality (though I am not above it) as I want him to be as self sufficient while he can. We just went today for a motorized wheelchair evaluation so he will...

    Wheelchair or scooter?

My son, 13, is mobile for very short distances but is almost always in his chair in Disney. I don't mind pushing him at all and it makes it easier so that he can stay in the chair on some rides. He also can take a nap if needed. He does get tired out easily. I can move him onto the ride as...

    Carved Animal Figurines at AK

He was carving in Epcot. We saw him the next day in AK. He was carving there also.

Do you think the days of handing your phone to photo-pass is over?

I think from a guest perspective it is...at least for a while as well. I am not handing my phone over to others to handle anytime soon.

    Carved Animal Figurines at AK

We sat for an hour or so and spoke to a man from Kenya as he was carving. He carved and finished a cheetah which we bought. He was great and my son got to help. We visited with him the next day at Animal Kingdom. It was a fun experience and one where we slowed down a little.

Coronavirus Poll - Are you still going or.....

We are not going in late May as planned. My son is immunosuppressed and we are trying to stay away from larger crowds though it is tough. Our trip to Europe this summer has also been postponed until next year. I can't risk it for him and our drs. agree. No panic here just not taking a risk...

    Europe Travel with a wheelchair

Transportation hasn't been figured out yet - hopefully train of some sort. It is a folding wheelchair but I have to take it apart to get it to fold.

    Europe Travel with a wheelchair

We are headed to Europe for a little over 2 weeks in June/July. I know that it is a busy time but it is the only time that we could go! We have never been to Europe and trying to plan is a little daunting especially with a wheelchair! My son can walk very short distances but no stairs. I...

    A Thousand Questions!!

We are also headed to DLP for a few days but in the early part of July. We are from the US but the best offer for us at this point is the UK offer. It does work if we book with the UK offer, right? Just wanted to check before I paid a deposit!! We are so excited! This will make our 4th...

**Villains After Hours - Magic Kingdom** FAQ & Discussion Thread

This has probably been asked before but would you do MK DAH or Villians party? We have done the MK after hours but people we will be with have not done either. Which do you find is the best for the money and crowds?

My Disney experience linking friends/family question

I am trying to do the same thing. Link up reservations for a friend and I with our kids. She and her son are staying at the same hotel and I have their confirmation. She has accepted the invitation twice but it won't let me add her to the "people I have plans with" category. It won't let me...

    Disability Stroller

We are going on the 5 night European cruise in July which goes to Italy. My son is in a wheelchair for distance but can walk short ways and can still be carried some (58 pounds, age 13). Most of the port adventures are not accessible due to the age and architecture of the areas. However, they...

    4 Parks. One day. Complete

We did it last summer. A food, picture, and a ride in each park. It rained most of the day even. We had a blast. Using boats, monorails, and busses was even part of the fun. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!

    Disability Access

We are hoping to go to DLP in July. My son is in a wheelchair, mobile for short distances and has other issues that make being in line for a long period very difficult. We qualify for the DAS at WDW and DL and it always makes a huge difference in our trip. Does DLP have anything similar? Any...

Really wish there was an Epcot after hours event!

I think that would be great! Getting to visit the countries slowly and a special show at the lagoon. I would go!

    Garden Grill to Soarin

We did not try. We were able to get out DAS pass renewed outside the park. Once in the Land we got a return time for the ride, then ate, then rode. However, with an opening of 9 they were letting people into the park well before that time. This was on Dec. 30 so it might have been due to the...
