Best trip ever, June '23 Japan Trip Report - update USJ 11/29

We have never been to Universal, so when we went to Japan we decided to do USJ and like you got tickets and express passes...and it rained all day. I mean, just poured. Lots of rides were down. Within the first 30 minutes of being there our shoes were soaked. I don't want to say it colored...

    Kids Club Age Change

Question: Are there phones that kids can use at Edge? I see a lot of people saying to have them call/text when they want to leave but my kids don't have phones.

    Kids Club Age Change

I have no problems with the Edge space itself, the activities in the space, or the 11-14 age range. We've been to open houses there and my kids had a good time. The issue is that it is not secured. My one kid is not neurotypical and has invisible disabilities. History has proven that he does...

    Tokyo Disney Sea Mystery Solving

We did this in November- map was only available in Japanese. We used google translate on our phone, but then we ended up googling it and finding an english map translation already available online. Honestly it is not hard to understand what to do at all once you get the basic premise of how the...

    Kids Club Age Change

Yes! I have 2 11 year olds and we cruise in January. The one absolutely is not ready for the freedom with Edge. What a disappointment.

Booking a hotel harder than Taylor Swift tickets?!??

I booked on the official website on Sat Aug 5th in the AM. We didn't want a fancy room (like no theme park view) but had a few different options for the 4 of us (Me, DH and our two kids age 11). I didn't even realize it was that difficult to book until I was reading afterwards. I guess I got...

Booking a hotel harder than Taylor Swift tickets?!??

We are checking into Dianeyland Hotel on Nov 5th also for a 4 night stay, but I didn't have any issues booking a room! Strange what different experiences we had!

    Merry Time cruise merch?

We sailed on the Fantasy 11/6 for the Very Merrytime cruise, but as it was our first cruise I don't know what to base it on. It seemed decorated, and the gingerbread house went up halfway through our trip. They had hot cocoa and choc chip cookies out (I was disappointed it wasn't gingerbread)...

11/6/2022 Fantasy Merrytime cruise no longer Merrytime

oh, your right. I read it on some cruise schedule table 11/5 but that table could have been wrong or I misread.

Just got the email that officially confirms it is a Very Merrytime cruise!

11/6/2022 Fantasy Merrytime cruise no longer Merrytime

We are booked on this cruise, too and I was bummed. With the ship's schedule, they are docked for an extra day which I assumed was to take down Halloween decorations and put up the Christmas ones. Hope it gets switched back, but like I told my travel agent..."it is what it is."

Magical Express to end in 2022

The issue with ubers and kids is car seats. A big perk to having the ME is not having to bring and install car seats for 2 30 minute rides. Luckily my kids have aged out of them, but it's a big blow to parents, especially ones with multiple kids.

Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Closing

Disappointing but not entirely surprising. The article I read said usage was down and I see this with our family. My husband used to play this a lot- I have photos of our daughter as an infant in a baby carrier playing with him (she's 8 now) but the past few years he mostly stopped. 2 reasons-...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Yes, I posted this on the previous page. The cast member at Cosmic Ray's turned us away. We weren't t let inside for water- even though it was empty- and they sent us down to the ice cream place in future world (sorry, can't recall the name) where we had to wait inside in the line to get water.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

This happened to us also at Cosmic Ray's. Wasn't let inside for water- even though it was empty- and they sent us down to the ice cream place in future world (sorry, can't recall the name) where we had to wait inside in the line to get water.

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

I looked at the CBR pool the first day and the only thing on the calendar was the nights they are having movies under the stars. The one afternoon we were at the feature pool the cast member was doing trivia. I don't think they can do games and other projects since people would have to touch the...

Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH RESORT Information & Questions

Can't comment on buses as we haven't taken them this trip but we've had good luck with the skyliner. We are in Jamaica which is where we usually stay at CBR. It's out favorite. We actually switched from POP to CBR for the longer pool hours for this trip. Also the main pool at CBR closes for bad...

Disney's CARIBBEAN BEACH RESORT Information & Questions

We had almost the same experience today. Got in skyliner line at 8:45. It started running right at 9 but those 15 minutes in the direct sun with no shade were brutal and for a minute I regretted not driving. But we were through bag check, in the park and in line for MMRR right before 9:30. They...
