I grew up not far from Acadia. Staying in Bar Harbor at peak season is going to get pricey. Ellsworth is not far and would be more affordable if you don’t mind driving to get to the park and town.

I feel you. We’ve had some almost 90 degree days recently and brought DH’s car in bc the AC wasn’t working. Compressor needed replacing with some other related parts to the tune of $3k. We’ll be done paying off that car in a couple months so would like to keep it as long as possible, but ouch.

My kids are college students and I send them holiday packages of seasonal candy and snacks and am doing the same this week for Easter. At least in my house, we don’t outgrow candy 😆. They’re especially partial to Starbust jelly beans.

I agree. Last year my numbers were higher than my doctor wanted to see. I was more mindful of my diet but mainly stepped up (pun intended) my walking routine. In three months when I had bloodwork repeated, my numbers had dropped almost 35 points.
