Best transportation option from SNA to Disneyland

Hey everybody! My wife and I are so happy to be returning to Disneyland in 3 weeks!! I can't believe its coming up so soon. We are going to be making our first trip with our 9 month old. Since this is our first trip with kids it occurred to us my gosh we don't know the best way to do this...

    News Round Up 2020

We live 15 minutes away and I'm not sure we can go after work! This is going to make weekends just flat impossible to book now. I know we aren't privy to all of the information that goes into these decisions but this just seems like a bad plan. As a local AP holder this makes it even more...

    Disneyland Reopening Speculation Superthread

Overall pretty well. Granted I've only been around Disney Springs and Epcot but it's generally been 95% compliance. My guess is those are the two areas with worst compliance though with more emphasis in the past on walking and eating/drinking. It's absolutely improved over the last few weeks...

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

This might be a bit of a niche situation but are there any local AP holders who also have an upcoming resort reservation? Just wondering what y'all decided to do...did you book parks for your resort stay or leave those open so you could actually go to the parks before then? At this point...

    News Round Up 2020

A number of reasons but yes, less exposure for the actors was #1. He said they considered removing the interactive portion with the guests on stage for scene 2 and just using actors but ultimately decided not to. They were worried about too many actors having to interact whereas in scene 1...

    News Round Up 2020

I hadn't seen this posted elsewhere but a friend of mine was called back for Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. Sounds like when they resume showings they will only be doing scene 1 (boulder scene). No for sure start date for shows. I wonder if they will start doing that for other shows as...

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

Join the party. Some with DVC appear to be able to make reservations for multiple stays and some like myself are not able to. I've been looking at various replies trying to find some rhyme or reason as to why and can't figure it out quite yet. The magic of Disney IT!

Cruise and Theme Park Operational Updates due to Coronavirus

We are staying DVC in August and October and have been having the same problem as has been mentioned. Both are 3 days stays. Made reservations for our 3 days in August no problem. Go to October and getting the "park pass limit reached message." Both reservations are linked in MDE also...

    News Round Up 2020

If you go up the pathway on the right from the entrance toward the tree of life the Babirusa environment is located on the right side. I have only seen them a couple of times even when I've been looking for them though.

    News Round Up 2020

Everything but WWOS is inside Orange County. I once had a bet with a coworker on whether our business location (which is down near Orange Lake Resort if you know where that is) was in Osceola or Orange county. Turns out the county line runs right down that stretch of 192 so I won!

    News Round Up 2020

Anybody else see that the RunDisney Marathon weekends all sold out in about 35 minutes? As of now it looks like only the full marathon and the Castaway Cay Challenge are still open. I have to imagine they severely limited the field on those.

    News Round Up 2020

Just received an email from DVC with an update: 1) As regards vacations that were canceled with points that were set to expire: "2019 Use Year points for April and June that are set to expire in 2020 and that were used for these reservations will be extended for one year from the current...

    The Rumor Tracking Thread

Totally agree on it being a logistics nightmare. Potentially a lot of people and food in tight spaces

    The Rumor Tracking Thread

This may have been discussed earlier but I wonder how much Food and Wine means to the WDW bottom line every year? And how much if any that would play into a decision about reopening Epcot this fall.

    News Round Up 2020

I was thinking and hopeful about something along those lines too. Unfortunately we are going to have to dramatically increase the amount of testing available in central Florida for this to happen. Just today the main location at Orange County Convention center increased from 400 daily tests...

    News Round Up 2020

This might just reflect the fact that DVC owners can book/cancel much more easily than cash reservations because its just about having the points. And with the way DVC is handling cancellations due to the virus there is really no downside to making the reservation. A separate yet connected...
