Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Your drinks will be poured for you at all club levels now. Coronado’s Toledo was added to the Florida Michelin Guide in April and is absolutely phenomenal. Three Bridges is very, very good. Both are very easy to get into. Unique (non-all-WDW) cocktail menus. Bars that close at midnight...

Hurricane Idalia - WDW Resorts Related Updates, Planning & Discussion

That first outer feeder band rolling in was definitely something from Chronos Club at Coronado.

Very Disappointed in Poly Club Level

The pandemic is over. It is absolutely not the reason for bad CL service. Bad resort management is. This happens on both coasts. A decade ago at DLR, it was the same thing with service at DLH (which at the time was amazing) versus service at GCH (which stank.) Immediately before the pandemic...

    WDW or Disneyland for Halloween?

It took two Halloween parties at Disneyland for us to decide never, ever to do them again. You get all the L.A./Orange County older teens coming into the park and obnoxiously goofing on people. You get given less candy than at MK. And the "trick or treat" queues can be really long. We hated the...

    Sci Fi table for Two

It's kind of the like the dining equivalent of Mission Space. It definitely can be awkward, depending on the vibe of the other folks seated in your "car". Our last time, we had a very unhappy family of four in front of us (in a car for six) with the mom being...momstrous to her husband and kids...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

(Mods please move! My browser zigged out of the AP thread while I was posting...) We have non-activated APs, arrive later this month on a room-only AP discount, have done online check-in (which I'm thinking we should not have done), and are not doing a park day on our arrival day. I called...

DLH vs GCH distance to Disneyland(not DCA)

The walk back to either hotel from DL at the end of the evening, you get to GCH just at the point when you ask yourself how much longer you have to walk.

Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

This has confused people for YEARS and it's completely understandable. The parks bus stop loop is Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas, and Tower. The Disney Springs bus stop loop is Tower, Casitas, Ranchos, and Cabanas. Whether you're headed out or coming back, this is the stopping pattern for your...

If Portugal became an EPCOT pavilion, what would you want it to include?

Every time I try to explain Sintra to people, it's always like, "Imagine a Disney castle on the top of a mountain..."

Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

You don’t mean tour groups at all. You’re specifically singling out the dance and cheer kids. Their resorts vary every year. We’ve been at Coronado during Pop Warner and mid-year cheer and dance competitions, and we’ve never had an issue with the chaperones and their kids. I don’t what people...

Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT Information & Questions

So since Cafe Rix has been downgraded post-pandemic to a morning-only option, what serves as Coronado’s early morning to late evening grab and go now?

    Frustrated!

No, my bad. I don’t know why I wrote that. You definitely don’t need to make reservations to hop.

    Coronado Springs Room Choice

We love CSR, but the Tower bus stop is usually the biggest complaint since it’s the last stop before the buses leave for the parks.

    Frustrated!

No, you’re not missing anything. My partner and I also have a multiple parks a day/sometimes we do different things from each other for half the day style of doing WDW, and the necessity for park reservations just dampened that badly. What I will say is if—and it’s an expensive if—you upgrade...

    Disney's Wilderness Lodge...or Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge?

I would do AKL because the rates right now are very good for Standard and Savannah View, both. If you go in late summer, the second half of August especially, the rates at AKL are phenomenal, especially for passholders.

    Maya grill vs Frontera cocina

Ditto this. The food is OK but not incredible, and the vibe is just…pretentious, but you look around and you realize how not high end the restaurant really is? If that makes sense. Coronado is our home resort, but Maya Grill was a one and done for us. You might want to travel to Coronado for...
