    Internet - Remote Work

It can be done, I've done it on all 4 DCL ships. Having said that, it IS slow and expensive, but not impossible.

    Anyone trying to book today

Got it. Was on hold for 1 hour 48 minutes, after many busy signals. Didn't get the room I wanted, but we are on maiden voyage. Thinking of the entire last year, I couldn't be happier right now.

Is it insane to miss your "main" dinner on a DCL cruise?

We skip the main dining all the time, it's no big deal. It's like adding time to your cruise. Being hungry is not an issue on a cruise.

    Alcohol before muster drill?

DCL actually has drinking events before the muster, so they are definitely NOT discouraging drinking before it! I've been to them on the last 2 cruises. One was a wine tasting the other was champagne, they were at 1:30 or something like that on embarkation day. We loved it.

Where to waitlist for a cabana on Castaway Cay?

It was right around 2 years ago. Good luck, we are proof that it can happen, even on the Dream class ships.

Where to waitlist for a cabana on Castaway Cay?

We did it at the port adventures desk and got one, if felt like winning the lottery. It was on the Dream.

Odds of Castaway Cay Cabana Opening?

Worst case, get on the standby list when you get on the ship. We got a cabana once by doing that.

Name one thing - that you enjoyed most from your last cruise..

Sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge.

The Disney Wish, what are you wishing for?

I'm hopeful that there will better technology all around, especially wifi and internet. We probably don't need a casino, they already have regular gambling (bingo). If there was a casino, I assume children wouldn't be allowed to gamble, like they can now with bingo.

Has anyone seen a cockroach in an MDR?

In 17 DCL cruises, we have never seen or even heard of this. Never been pranked, never seen anyone pranked, I'm wondering if this even happened

DVC Wonder, West Coast Cruise May 15 through May 20, 2019,

Hi everyone, I am a DCL veteran (17 cruises) but this will be our first DVC Member cruise. I'm wondering if anyone knows why there are no princess or Frozen meet and greets listed on the site like there are for other "normal" DCL cruises. Do they have M&Gs on DVC Member cruises?

Would you do a Disney Cruise with no Kids?

We have done 17 Disney cruises and not one of them with children. To say that we love it would be a real understatement. Others have said it, Disney isn't just for children. On the ship and in the parks, it's easy to see that we move at warp speed compared to people with children. We are...

    Parasailing At CC

I've done it 2 times at Castaway Cay, it was great, totally worth it. I was a little scared the first time, but it's really nice and peaceful when you get up in the air. It's also a great view of Castaway Cay and the ship.

    Favorite ship..

After cruising on the Dream class ships, I find the Magic class a little disappointing. We've been on all 4 ships multiple times, I'd say the Fantasy is my favorite. The worst thing about the Dream class is the mind-numbing repeating of the same itineraries.

Tasting on Embarkation day too much?

We did it and loved it so much. It felt like getting the cruise started early. It was full.

    Castaway Cay on cold days

The 5K run is nice when it's cool.

    Dining some nights only?

We started doing this a few cruises ago, and it's awesome, we are mostly bored with the MDRs. We had a DCL cruise a while back where we never went to the main dining room. It's like adding 2 hours to your evening, it feels like freedom.
