    ***November 2023 Check-in Thread***

We're heading in early tomorrow. So excited! Just curious, has anyone who is there now or was there within the past few days noticed when LL has been filled up for the day for the more popular rides like Indy and HM? We are normally rope drop people, so we don't worry so much, but my oldest...

    ***November 2023 Check-in Thread***

It's not cold, but not Florida hot either. Much like a Florida winter, it's best to dress in layers. It will be around 50 degrees in the morning, may go up to 80 at the peak of the day, then drop down to 50 again at night. I personally wear leggings or jeans this time of year since the hot...

    El Nino

I haven't read the whole thread, but really, unless you are prone to illness when it's wet out or something, just go. I was there for Thanksgiving 2019 and it was one of the most intense atmospheric rivers I've ever seen at Disneyland. The water was above my ankles at one point while riding...

Do you think Sat 4/6 (Dapper Day) will be better than a weekday since most MK are blocked?

Dapper Day has always been packed in my experience. It's fun, but very crowded. Though it's also spring break season, so even weekdays will probably be crowded.

    Updated Blue Bayou Menus!!!

I'm really excited for the new menu, which so closely resembles the menu of my childhood. I only wish I had seen it before my 60 day reservation window opened. Going to be keeping my eyes out for an opening.

Would you buy DL tickets now or see if there's a Black Friday sale? Going week after Thanksgiving

Don't wait for reservations as they fill up this time of year. GAT has a "get a 4th day free" promotion right now I think and otherwise, they run "get an adult for kids price". It won't be a much better value than now.

    ***November 2023 Check-in Thread***

Has anyone tried to book Goofy's Kitchen on Thanksgiving (11/23)? I'm assuming it hasn't opened yet because I was on right at 6AM today and everything else was there, but figured I would ask anyway.

Skip table service dinners during the holidays?

I book an early lunch usually if I do any TS restaurants. That way, I never miss out on anything happening at night.

    ***November 2023 Check-in Thread***

11/21-11/24 BWPPI. Super excited. It's not like we don't go to Disneyland all the time, but this will be the first Thanksgiving trip we've taken since 2019. Also, in 2019 it was literally pouring rain on Thanksgiving, like atmospheric river level rain, so I'm really hoping the weather will be...

    Disappointed

I'm late to the game. Haven't kept up on DIS in a while since I don't have any plans to visit FL anytime soon and they don't do much with Disneyland. Wow. There's a lot to take in. I feel like there's a lot we still don't know and I'm not really sure what that means for DIS as a whole, but I...

I Went To Super Nintendo World In Universal Hollywood!

I was there a couple of weeks ago and going again this weekend for passholder previews. It's truly amazing if you are a Mario Kart fan. I love the ride so much and can't wait to go on it again. My family literally spent 3 hours just in that area last time we were at USH exploring the mini...

Genie+ And Ticket price increase 10/11/2022

So...for a family of 5, if we wanted to have a 1 day park hopper on a peak day, we're looking at $1200? And with Genie+, that's $1325? I could go to Disneyland for 1 day or rent a cabin in the mountains for an entire week...which pretty much means my family will be spending a lot of time in...

    Disneyland: Priciest Place on Earth

I think you get what you pay for. I'm not saying they aren't overpriced. They definitely are and I really wish it was more affordable for larger families like mine. But, at least for the time being, they have a superior product. I love theme parks and visit as many as I can wherever I am...

    Magic Key Passes

Reading this thread really just reminds me how much I wish they had kept the flex pass and also makes me think a lot. Seriously though, I was finally ready after a few years of not having passes to upgrade my tickets to keys earlier this summer and they announced no more new keys literally days...

Packing tips for first-timers in Cali

it's pretty much FL minus the humidity and rain, so no ponchos or umbrellas, but everything else is about the same. And a sweatshirt for the night. Most of the time, September is one of the hottest months of the year. It's usually dry heat and if you're really unlucky, there will also be a...

It's kind of awful this week.

I'm sorry to hear about all these problems. It was the complete opposite when I went last month--everything was going great (a few breakdowns, but that's normal in summer) and the CMs were wonderful. I have to wonder if covid is taking its toll on employees. It's clearing spreading like crazy...

    Masks returning to DLR?

I did hear that San Diego schools are also going to require masks indoors, so it's not just L.A. That being said, I can't see Orange County (where Anaheim is) falling in line. They have similar politics to the county I live in and unless there's a state mandate, I doubt it'll change anything...

    Magic Key Renewals

I'm still in the weird boat of people hoping they just go to a system where you can buy 10, 20, 50, or 100 days of visiting per year at a discount to use with the reservation system. I know, I know...you all hate me. But I'm not seeing any other ways to get around the reservation system with a...

Website update?!? I can modify online now..

It's about time. I've been hoping for this feature for years! Makes me more likely to book a vacation package through Disney. I hate phones, so this is fantastic.
