We just returned from a trip using the QS dining plan. Every time we got a meal at the food court at Art of Animation and Coronado Springs Resort we got a bottled drink with our meal to take with us and used the mugs in the food court.

I don't know the schedule. Actually on our night it was supposed to be salmon, but they had run out so the steak was a substitute along with the sides that were there for the salmon dinner.

We were just there on the quick service plan and had the steak from the carving station for a quick service credit. Great value!

One of our new favorite resorts is the Tower at Coronado Springs. The rooms are lovely, the lobby is beautiful, you don't need to walk outside to get to restaurants, and there is a bus stop right in front of the building under a covered sidewalk.

I have had my refillable mug on the table at table service restaurant many times including at Boma. I just pour my drink into my mug myself and request a refill in my restaurant glass. I've never had a problem.

I don't know the answer to your question, but Disney restaurants typically go out of their way to provide allergy-friendly options for people. I do see a child cheeseburger on the menu; at the very least you could probably request a plain hamburger bun in place of the garlic bread.

It doesn't have to result in unused credits if you eat more than two meals in a day. Eating three or four meals in a day if often preferable for folks with smaller appetites.

When you call, ask to change your room only reservation to a ticketless package with the dining plan.

The bus is available even when the boats are running and is sometimes a good choice depending on which part of Springs you are visiting. We did a combination of both during our December 2023 stay at POR.
