Grubhub - thats such a good (obvious) idea! its insane to have a deluxe hotel not offering room service.... but I do realize staffing shortages are a reality everywhere. Its not that I order a lot of room service but its really convenient if you are burnt out from a long day!

Is there room service at AKL? If so, anyone have a menu? Thanks!

I do and that is a fair point! Maybe I will connect my old MB and just use it for the pools.

If we don't order magic bands - do we use our phones for everything or is there some kind of Key to the World card like in the old days? I mean I feel like its kind of a waste of money to buy a band (?) especially b/c its so annoying to have anything extra on in the heat!

Are you really committed to a WDW hotel? There are a lot of really fun non-disney hotels with amazing pools in the area that are significantly less $$ and you could have pool OR beach access. Just throwing it out there :)

Travelling in late August and I'm not sure about my Epcot dining. I had planned to get the Space restaurant and sadly didn't - so I got Garden Grill. Which my family usually enjoys - but I'm not 100% sold on it. Just wondering if anyone has had a recent Epcot dining experience that exceeded...

Its been a few years since we were last at WDW. Curious how you would prioritize seeing nighttime shows at each park. I'm thinking we will make it to only one or two at most. Thanks!

AKL is really beautiful decorated during the holidays. I took my in-laws for an early December trip at AKL and they absolutely loved it. I don't think they would have enjoyed Contemporary as much. Its a really nice resort to hang out if you need extra downtime and my FIL def needed a little...

So no issue taking a baby & highly recommend in cooler months. Everything is so baby friendly and there are so many rides they can go on. But I hated doing the parks in the summer heat with a stroller or carrying a baby. I am 100% fine now in Summer months that kiddo can navigate on her...

I think the garden rooms are better. The tower rooms are so, so noisy! I really like the patio rooms.
