We used Civitavecchia Shuttle Express last year. They brought us right up to the check in area.
ETA: We used them from Rome city center to the port, and then from the port to the airport. not sure about the train station. It was 150 Euros each way
With a 4 year old, I am happy about the change. 3-12 was way too big of an age gap. 3-10 makes more sense, though I understand being upset if you have a 11/12 year old who loved oceaneers. We all want our kids to have a great time.
I searched the thread and didn't find it - does anyone know if Jack & Sally start meeting early/wait times this year? My 4 year old wants to me "jack skeleton" and trying to map out our plan for tomorrow!
Saw it last Saturday then went back to take my 4 year old for her first movie in a theater - she sat through the entire movie which is a feat! And wanted me to play the soundtrack in the car.
We really enjoyed it. Not our favorite ever but definitely good.
From someone who's done 2 cruises in the last year - got covid on one and didn't on the other..
If it's very important to you to stay healthy - My suggestion to you would be to bring multiple well fitting N95 masks (I prefer the 3M AURA - can find it at target) and face mask neck straps/...
Question for those who've been recently!! What time are the resort buses starting? Early enough to take advantage of early entry at MK? Early entry starts at 8:30 (letting you into fantasyland) so we would like to be IN the park by 8.
Thanks!
We had two large suitcases (my husband handled them while I handled our daughter) and then we all had backpacks and we didn't find it to be an issue. For the long train rides I remember there being a storage spot for luggage. We had no idea what we were doing and we managed just fine, haha!
We (2 adults 1 child) took the train from the Gatwick to London and an uber to our hotel. We also took the train to the port and when we arrived there was a bus with Disney that was offering transport to the ship for $10 per person. Just wanted to mention as an option for people researching.
Highly recommend cruising for an international trip with a 3 year old.
We did the Norwegian Fjords cruise last year and my daughter turned 3 - it was so wonderful. We did London before and after the cruise and that was fun but way more stressful with a toddler. Having your hotel essentially...
We are on the Dream in Europe this summer (did Magic last summer in Europe as well) and I am excited because I felt the Magic was showing her age and could use a dry dock.
As far as crowds, with how expensive flights are... I don't expect it to be at capacity. We paid over 5 grand for 3...
Came home with COVID from our Disney Magic cruise in Sept (Europe). I had COVID in May and I was vaccinated and boosted so I was really surprised. I also tried to wear a mask in crowded indoor areas but I was not perfect. My daughter and husband did not get it... Obviously personal immune...
My husband was adamant on seeing Max, so we sat down on the curb 1/3 down main street (from the entrance) at 8:30. That was WAY too early but it was just us so we enjoyed just hanging out. There were spots for people to sit around us for a long time after that. If you didn't need to be front row...
This felt about normal to me for compared to pre-covid party. But you definitely don't need to save a spot for an hour to see the fireworks or parade. We watched the 915 parade on main street then moved down main street to watch the fireworks shortly after and easily got a place to sit on main...
