Taking a 1 and 3 year old to WDW: A Story of Survival, and Maybe a Little Fun! *FINISHED 1/16

Following along! We'll be taking our one year old son soon! How far in advance did you rent the points? I really want to try it, but have heard that there's not a lot of availability at times.

Polynesian Pixie Dust: A Love/Hate Vacationship. An October 2017 TR *updated 2/12x3 and Complete*

Joining in late--just binged on the whole report so far! Love it, very entertaining. Looks like you took it all at a great pace for the 2 of you...not too commando but still managed to do a lot! I went to MNSSHP a couple years ago but it was last minute and had no idea at the time about Pooh...

Baby's First Trip; Child Swap Til We Drop!! Nov. 12-22nd 2016 (TRIP REPORT COMPLETED 2/28)

Great report! I'm going with my 16month-old next month, so it was great to see a trip report with one about the same age as him. You definitely convinced me to bring our ergobaby carrier!

When expectations are this high - can Mickey deliver?? :) Nov17 with 2 young kids! (Complete)

This was a great report! Thanks for the mobile ordering tip. It hasn't been too long since I've been there, but long enough to be out of the loop on that, apparently! (I've been busy becoming a mom to my now-15mo) This might be a silly question, but was it always clear where/when you needed to...

    Why do you like POFQ?

Thanks everyone! I am getting excited! I also watched a video walk-through of the resort, and seeing it helped me too. I loved all the trees, and it looked like my little man would really enjoy just running around outside in the green space.

    Why do you like POFQ?

Yeah, the compact size is one of the reasons we were considering it, for sure. I also like the idea that we can just open our door and be outside. The little man likes the outdoors and sometimes when he grumpy just letting him run around outside a bit calms him down. That's still possible at...

    Why do you like POFQ?

Thank you, that helps! I think we'll be using the food court a fair amount, so that's a plus. I'm not sure about the pool and sprayground, though, since we're going in January. The last 2 January trips I've taken, it has been too cold for swimming. Apparently, my husband and I don't really...

    Why do you like POFQ?

And can you convince me I will?? :) Background: My husband and I just decided to take a trip with my 15 month old son and my family (they're staying off site) in early January. We previously stayed in Port Orleans Riverside, and had an ok time, but it was the second half of a split stay...

My Disney Experience App . . . Characters Sleeping??

I was having the same issue as OP. Everything worked fine except the sleeping characters. I deleted the app and then reinstalled and it seems to be working now. Hope that works for you!

    Halloween Party for Adults

I went with two friends and we are all 30+. We had a great time! I loved the parade and stage show, and meeting some rare characters. I was not too impressed with the fireworks but I'm not a big fireworks fan in general. I did not collect candy (trick or treat) but my friends did so you can...

    Tours and Photography

Yes, you can take photos in any "on stage" area (which in Behind the Seeds includes the part where you're in the greenhouse that the ride goes through). They will very clearly tell you when you're entering a photo-restricted part of the tour.

"How much can we whisper-yell at eachother before we get thrown out?" Little Monster's First Trip

Just joining in! I'm a thyroid cancer survivor too. Your little girl is adorable. Love her curly hair but I can imagine how hard it is to manage!

Call me "May"-be - Planning a Disney trip in a "limbo" time period

Yup, this exactly! If all the new stuff we're going to be open, I'd feel pressure to see and do it all. This way, we can just enjoy all the other great stuff that's there, and know that we'll be back sometime in the future to see the new stuff.

I’m ridiculous and love Club Villain! (Feb - March 2016 Trip Report) update 7/27

Loving the report so far! I'm not a deluxe snob (yet...haven't had enough experience with them, hah) but I want wasn't that impressed with POR. It was pretty, and I probably would choose it over an All Star, but it was kinda meh. Love your photos, and can't wait to hear about Club Villain since...

    Photoshop Elements for digital scrapbooking?

Yes, Elements does most of what you would need for digital scrapbooking. If you want another option, GIMP is a free alternative, and it can do a few things Elements can't, but it does have a high learning curve.

    BoG for Bfast or lunch??

I have the same question! I've already been for lunch and dinner, but I don't remember what I had for lunch, besides the Grey Stuff so maybe it wasn't that great?

New Year, New Experiences! A January 2016 TR - I’m here at WDW! 3/25

I can't remember if I posted here already or not, but I have loved reading your report, especially because I will be about 22wks pregnant at the time of my upcoming trip as well! Looks like you had a lot of fun!
