For the second show on 5/28, we tried to watch fireworks on the bench between the French market and HM, but they were cancelled. So we wandered over to the Hungry Bear dining package entry around 9:35 or so and ended up with a front row railing seat for the 10:30 show.

The person in front of us asked and was told they can only order off the Fantasmic menu but who knows if that will change once they get everything up and running smoothly.

We ate at hing We ate at Hungry Bear, but I did see lots of people take theirs to go in big bags. It was a jt crazy in the area and my kids were hungry so we just grabbed and table to eat at there.

We didn’t love the food. The kids Mac and cheese was good. The ribs were ok. I wasn’t a fan of the chicken. The meals were prepackaged so I don’t know about substitutions but maybe send an email in advance? Definitely kinks tonight but I’m sure it will get better after a week or so.

Hungry Bear to go menu! We had 7:30 reservations, got in a long check in line at 7:06. It’s 7:50 and we still have a few people in front of us before we order. Standby people have been lining up for hours already for the first show.

Same! I desperately wanted Hungry Bear on the go and had to give up my 7:15 River Belle but kept my 4pm just in case!

May 28th is our last DL day and now I have to try to manage Lion King, Fireworks and Fantasmic all in one day…. Oy! 🤪

I did the same for 4pm - we want the second show so I was thinking 7pm but then maybe should stick with 4pm so it doesn’t sell out? 5/28 is our only option so maybe I’ll try to stop by ask earlier in the week to figure out which one to keep!

We booked for 5/28 at 6:30 but may cancel if Fantasmic Dining packages come back for opening night. I’m also super curious to see the menu offerings because that may make or break whether we keep the reservation or not.

Same! I have a 9 and a 12 year old, going next month. Obviously 12 year old is booked as an adult but would love the light up sipper, especially if her sister gets one 🤞🏻

Thank you! I was able to use the trick on my iphone and get the 9:15pm reservation for 5/27 - our only full day in DCA. Yay! My multiple Please Sit Tight queues are still spinning so I appreciate the heads up to try to app again.

I just cancelled 2 Blue Bayou reservations for 4 on 9/6 if anyone is looking. One was late lunch 1:50 and dinner 5:40. Also cancelled Plaza Inn on 9/6 at 10:20 for 4. Just in case anyone is looking!

Got my Blue Bayou reservations finally! Used one of the dining alert websites to alert me and managed to snag 9/6 and 9/8 while we decide which is better (and release the rest of course). Phew - set on dining - although now I feel like I need Oga’s since our last trip was 5/2019 right before...

I’ve checked multiple times a day for every day that week except the 9th with no luck! We have OBB tickets on the 9th so we aren’t using a park ticket that day so I haven’t looked for that date but none of the others have had anything.
