    RunDisney from Fort Wilderness

If you have a golf cart, have someone take you to the Run Disney bus and pick you up after the race.

    Resort Shopping?

Grand Floridian, Poly, and Ft. Wilderness. All of them have themed merchandise that isn't found in other stores. We love Basin at the GF and the tropical items at the Poly.

    Anyone prefer Pop over CBR?

I have never stayed at CBR. I have stayed at the other moderates. I did not think I would like Pop- as a matter of fact, I thought I would hate it. Actually, I love Pop! I love the shadowboxes in the lobby with memorabilia from each decade. I love the smell in the lobby. I love the...

    Walmart +

We used it. Met the driver out front of Pop Century. It was super easy and I liked having our own food in the room, especially with limited food options due to COVID.

Fabulous Fifty Fall Fun: An October/November 2020 PanTR (Pandemic Trip Report) [COMPLETE]

I am a little late to your report.... as I was scrolling through, I noticed that you live in Maryland. Where abouts? I live near Salisbury. Is that The Point restaurant where you ate crabs? I love your Donald Duck shirt! I may have to get one! I am enjoying reading about your plans!

    Making Lemonade from Lemons.

I started reading your report this morning. I was scrolling along and then I saw your picture of Wally! My son played lacrosse with Wally Jr. at Cabrini and they were roommates there. Your description of Wally was spot on! I could just hear his big, booming voice making fun of your Disney...

Non park days / non park trip

We typically spend anywhere between 7-10 days at the Fort. We schedule some non-park days to enjoy the pool and ride around on the golf cart. There is so much to do at the Fort and it is so relaxing! If possible, I would schedule time to enjoy it!

Hi Jenny, another longtime lurker. I have read all of your reports and I am quite jealous of the Epic girls' trip. I too want to pass along prayers for Gia. She is adorable and I have enjoyed reading about your adventures together. Sending prayers and positive vibes to your family!

Ohana dinner - best meal of our Thanksgiving trip!

We love Ohana. It is my husband's favorite restaurant at WDW and one that we do every trip. We have never had a bad experience. Glad you enjoyed it!

    Food and Wine crowds

We were there last week as well. Did the evenings there at the booths and did not have a problem. Friday was a little more crowded, but still manageable. We went to EPCOT on Saturday to get our coasters, and it was really crowded! Hope it works out for you! Enjoy!

POP or POFQ -- Help me decide please

We have stayed at both resorts. We just stayed at Pop last week and really liked it, which I did not anticipate prior to this trip. During the week Pop was not overly busy or loud. The only time I was bothered by the amount of people and the noise was on Saturday when a lot of people were...

Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

We just returned from a great trip at Pop! I went into the trip thinking that I would not like the resort, and we loved it! The Skyliner was a great transportation option and was very fast and fun. The refurbished rooms were great and the cast members were very friendly and helpful!

    Ohana?

Our family really enjoys Ohana and we have never had a bad experience there. It is the one restaurant that my family requests for every trip. However, there may be better options for an 11 year old's birthday celebration that would be more fun or exciting for her. There are plenty of options...

    Luggage at campsite

The camping thread has a lot of information about Ft Wilderness. We have never had a problem with anything getting stolen there. We have camped there many different times in a RV, but we have left out decorations, chairs, coolers, and other items. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful...

Paying off room balance with cash

We do this every time we go. We keep a credit card on file and use our magic bands throughout the trip. Then the day before we check out, we go to the front desk and pay the balance in cash. We get a copy of the receipt to keep to make sure the credit card is not charged. We have never had a...

Birthday trip report! WDW & Fort Wilderness for 8 nights! March 8-16 2019

I did the monorail (pub) crawl on my last trip. We had so much fun and didn't even go into a park! My friends enjoyed seeing the different resorts and trying the specialty drinks at each one. The sushi at the Kona Cafe was delicious!! I am enjoying your report.

    River Country Today

I think the wedding article about the Fort is slightly misleading. On this season of Disney Fairytale Weddings, they had a couple get married outside with a view of the water. They had a rustic wedding in the area past Crockett's Tavern. This is one of the new WDW wedding locations, as the...
