Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Well, we did it again. Had a CSR Club room booked, followed by a first time stay booked at BW. Saw a resort view room at BC that will save us $ so are headed back to our 2nd favorite resort (YC has become our fave). Had a great streak of 2 trips with no changes going and broke it already😂 Dee-...

    Help..Split Stay or Moderate

In the minority but we prefer to do split stays. Lots of them- usually do new resort first then change to the Epcot area to finish. Prefer to walk to 2 parks over other transport for the entire trip. YC/BC are 2 favorites. Haven’t stayed at POFC but it doesn’t appeal to us. We prefer CSR.

What are your favorite split-stay combos at WDW and why?

We do split stays most trips. We've only stayed at CSR for the moderates (not fans of the skyliner because it's left us stranded all but one time when we've ridden it and been forced to return on the bus, so we've never seen the "game changer" advantage that others have) so if we do a...

Saratoga Springs 1 bedroom or Yacht

We are YC people but the extra space, kitchen and laundry are wonderful at SSR. It will also offer a quieter place to nest after all the stimulation of the parks. Yes, it is large and sprawling but it really isn't that hard to navigate and if you have a car then the bus is a mute point.

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Just a thought but...while the pixie dust is nice for the guest that has extra non YC/BC guests get use of the SAB, it creates the situation where those less reasonable and feeling much more entitled to use those examples as their excuse to demand entrance for those they want to include.

Love my TA! She got the discount applied for our stay. Between our 2 resorts we saved over $600.

    Some help choosing a resort!

We'd pick CSR. We haven't stayed at the others but have visited and CSR is still our favorite. We are also not (gasp) fans of the skyliner so that would definitely rule out CBR. Both times we've ridden the skyliner we had problems-once stuck for a while and the other time it stormed and waited...

Stay at GF or Poly for night of MNSSHP. Yay or nay?

Thanks for all the replies! We do split stays all the time, so moving for one night is no big deal. We've gone to various national parks and have moved daily to see/spend time in various areas to cut down on travel times. We like to stay in the boardwalk area to save travel time to the 2 parks...

Best resort beach to watch MK FWks

We enjoyed watching them from the Poly beach. Haven't tried it from the other resorts. Had a gorgeous sunset before the fireworks and lots of room to watch.

Stay at GF or Poly for night of MNSSHP. Yay or nay?

We have a 4 night stay at YC. Our last night we are going to MNSSHP and there is availability at GF and Poly. We've stayed at the Poly in a studio but never have stayed at the GF. There isn't a huge difference in price so making the move isn't a big stretch and since our adult son is going, the...

Resort hopping.....love it or hate it??

We've done a bunch of trips staying at 2 resorts. We haven't found it to be an issue, but we are all adults and can handle our own packing. Depending on the makeup of the group, this may create an issue. We like trying a new resort with the backup of a tried and true resort. It's let us try on a...

Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

We've gotten the couch/daybed about 50% of the time at BC waterview (which is what we almost always book at BC) If we got to the room and didn't have one, we would request a cot for the room at the front desk once we were in the room or nicely ask the front desk to change your room. When we...

Wild Africa Trek vs. Savor the Savanna

We've done the Wild Africa Trek twice. I was told max number was 12 but that may have changed. First time was 6, the next time was just our family of 4. We were able to feed the hippos both times and all the different areas were occupied. Had a really great experience the first time as the...

    Value vs. Deluxe

We mostly stay deluxe. Have stayed a night at a value and it was fine but was noisier and more chaotic. Have had several stays at CSR and will return there very willingly. But we have had multiple trips where it has monsoon rained (or we were confined to the resort due to a hurricane) and we...
