SeaWorld Orlando - Menus with prices - 2018

Is there ice cream included anywhere on the meal plan? Its a favorite dessert around here! Also my 9 year old eats a ton! Does the no sharing rule matter is everyone in your party has the wristband? I'm thinking we may let him have my adult meal and me eat his kids meal at some places.

    All you can eat questions

We did it in 2016 but I am eager to hear from those who have been more recently. For us it was a good value overall since we had hungry boys who ate like bottomless pits. We ate at Voyage Smokehouse for bbq and burgers at Spice mill. We did get some iceees, and we got chicken strips and fries to...

    Sea World all day dining

I'm considering the all day dining deal at Sea World for our trip this fall. We used it on our trip in 2016 and enjoyed it but this trip we have a new baby and are eager to check out Sesame Street. Does anyone know if any of the food locations in Sesame Street accept the all day dining? Are ice...

    KENTUCKY DERBY

I actually work at a hotel in Frankfort and the Derby weekend is crazy booked up for hotels in the area. Most of what is available at this point is going to be pretty pricey unless you are willing to do a fair amount of driving. There are a ton of events in the area for the Derby and it is a...

    First time Sea World questions

The food at Voyage Smokehouse is pretty good. And the refillable mug is a pretty good deal.

Just back from a spilt stay Universal/Disney..... here's what I learned.

I have found the ADRs argument to be very true. We have done many table service meals at Disney, paid absurd prices, waited long past reservation times, and booked dining 6 months in advance. Univeral's table service dining was light years better. Reasonable prices, same day or 24 hours in...

    Holiday World: Santa Claus, Indiana.

We love Holiday World. It's only a couple hours from our home in Kentucky and we go every year. Its extremely clean, they do excellent with gluten free food options, the food and tickets are reasonably priced, and they are so friendly. There aren't a lot of lodging options in the area or dining...

Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge - too busy in August?

I'm following since we are considering a fall trip to Pigeon Forge. Anyone know a good way to get discounted Dixie stampede tickets like the medieval times ones we got from undercover tourist?

    Offsite Restaurants

We like to eat at places we don't have at home. Universal's City walk has some great choices Bubba Gump Shrimp, Margaritaville, Cowfish, etc. Near the Florida Mall there are a lot of chain places that we don't have in our town like Outback, Olive Garden, Red Robin, Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze...

Trip to the dark side or SW/BG?

We did the one park per day tickets and found them to be fine. We didn't wait longer than 25 minutes for anything except the minions ride which we waited 40. We aren't huge Harry Potter fans and didn't really have a strong desire to ride the train so we skipped the park hoppers and never missed...

    Exploring the Darkside

Overall Universal did seem more "boy" oriented with all their favorite things like superheros, dinosaurs, minions, transformers, aliens, etc. I can see us visiting Universal much more in the future as they boys get more adamant that princesses are for girls.

    Exploring the Darkside

With several Disney vacation under our belt and feeling a tad frustrated with the rising prices and construction delays we opted to explore Universal Studios and SeaWorld this trip. We stayed at a lovely offsite hotel suit for a steal that had a free breakfast buffet every morning. We bought 4...

    How big are the Parks

Walking the Universal parks feels like walking around MK to me. But Universal does have the moving walkways from the parking garage which helps and a lot more seating in the parks to take breaks.

    Newbie heading to US/IOA.... Suggestions?

Preferred parking isn't really worth the price increase in my opinion. It just puts you on the same level as the park but there are escalators and elevators so its not a huge deal.

    Advice on Dining at Universal

We just got back and loved Finnegans, Margaritaville, and Mythos for table service. We didn't do a lot of quick service but Moe's was just like it was at home. We didn't really feel the price difference between quick service and table service was significant enough for us to not just sit down...

    Celiac and eating at Universal

One of our party has Celiac and ate well at Universal for four days last week. Finnegans, Mythos, Margaritaville, Bubba Gump Shrimp, dippin dots ice cream carts, Ben and Jerry's ice cream at Schwabbs, and Moe's southwestern grill at Citywalk were all very accomodating and we had no cross...

Give me you best easy and cheap recipe please!

Around here pork has been crazy cheap. Put a whole pork loin in crockpot with apple juice and cook for 8 hours. When you get home shred meat and add your favorite BBQ sauce. I usually serve it on buns with fries and corn on the cob or baked beans. Chicken legs are often really cheap around...

Air conditioned spots in US and Islands of Adventure

We are getting ready for our first summer visit to Universal. We have 4 days tickets so I'm pretty sure we will have plenty of time for everything. Feeling a bit nervous about the heat. What are some air conditioned attractions and lines we can cool off in? Anything like the Dumbo play area at...
