The restaurant was originally called Top of the World. It wasn’t changed to California Grill until the mid 90s. Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake was named in honor of the original restaurant. I assume OP was joking that they haven’t been to the location since before the rename in the 90s:)

Dining reservation trick worked to get in, but still had a white page with a few help links- no ability to make park reservations using Safari. Switched to incognito Chrome and got right in using the dining reservation trick. All reservations made for mid- August. Good luck to everyone still...

I would do 1900 for dinner and make sure to do Enchanted Tales with Belle. Your daughter will get to see Belle in her ball gown and take a picture with her at the end. I think there's too much overlap between CRT and Akershus personally. 1900 will still be a princess meal, but something different.

I don’t think anyone was “beating you up”. They were agreeing with you that the service was unacceptable. I think they were offering advice that if you or anyone else is in this situation again you should advocate for yourself and let management know that your server wasn’t doing their job...

Agree with this! QS is the best food at AK. I wouldn’t put any of the TS at the top of my list. I’d much rather eat at Satu’li than any of the TS listed. Now if you include AKL, they have some of the best TS on property.
