    ID for alcohol purchase

Have always carried physical drivers license and a photocopy or photo of passport. Always asked for drivers license, and need to add passport about half the time. We range in age from 28 to 65, and if they ask for one they want them all.

Fort Wilderness Cabins bed/bathroom specific questions

Stayed in November, the sofa bed is "okay" as mentioned, but is never made or bedding changed. It is definitely not a private space, I was always up and dressed first. We once stayed with 6 people, blended families of 3 each. One couple had their 3 year old in their bed. There is limited...

    HA 2 Bedrooms at OKW

have not stayed OKW, but I did find touring plans could not identify HA bathrooms in Kidani. I used a TA for this booking and did get an HA, it was a one bdr and the master bath was a roll in. Second bath was regular for the other guests.

Fort Wilderness closed to day visitors Oct 26-Nov 2

We have a Cabin reservation for next week, made almost a year ago. Love the experience of the Fort, look for Mando on wheels. However how do they manage grocery deliveries? Have one planned for Sunday, no car.

HS Dining: Sci Fi to Oga's to Fantasmic

Agree, I would not try to do both on the same evening. Oga's is a favourite of ours, but your experience depends on you travelling party (like Biergarten you do share tables) and servers. It does tend to run slow, but we make the time for it.

***The Official AKV Owners And Lovers Thread***. Come And Chat

We have stayed at both with a WC, have had more issues getting on at Kidani later in the day because of ECVs going to Jambo to get off. Have not had more than the usual waits at Jambo. You can make the 15 minute walk if you are really concerned.

    Shop Disney Delivery

I have done this in the past pre-Covid, and it has worked. I am crossing fingers, just about to try again.

Jambo! The newest AKL Information thread

Not sure if it was just busy, but in August 2018 we had to take a king plus daybed to get a roll in shower, room 3234 (partial savanna). Daybed was absolutely not comfortable.

The current situation at Cabins at Fort Wilderness

Stayed many times, there is a dishwasher. We usually load and start in the morning before going out. Didn't do it one day (had only coffee pot and one cup). They did run it through. They have Brawny paper towels, which are not great LOL.

AKL Kidani 1 bdr - roll in shower question

I booked a one bedroom savannah view villa at Kidani, travel agent said it had a roll in shower. My question I only find a studio like that 7816, but it has a connecting room. Is there some DVC magic that turns it into a 1 bdr? Or do you perhaps know of another room?

Able to change Advance DAS reservation in park?

So not really true. Each park has to change their rides and they just give you and extra. So four trips to guest services

Able to change Advance DAS reservation in park?

Fingers crossed, the advance DAS booker left off one of my party (yes I told them, no I didn't notice). Cannot change without cancelling 10 days worth of times. The advice I got was to try guest services when we get to park. Hoping for a lot of pixie dust.

    What if Test Positive Beforehand?

The insurance offered by WestJet, however with a Level 3 travel advisory I believe you need the deluxe version. We made it back just before changes.

    What if Test Positive Beforehand?

We bought trip cancellation insurance, but don't know how it would work (didn't use). It covers "expenses" up to $10k, again there is a lot of fine print. But flights and hotels are covered.

    BeeperMD test results

Used BeeperMD, it all went smoothly (except no text the day before) got a call about 30 minutes before scheduled appointment. Nurse arrived at our room in POP, right on time at 8 am. We (4) were done in 20 minutes. Rapid antigen results came in about 4 pm (that was our back up in case we...

WDW Summary of NEW DAS changes and Disney Genie - Post ONE is an updated summary

Done, it was less time than I expected and I did get everything I wanted, during the windows I wanted. The logging in and out was definitely annoying. I opened on browser (PC and Chrome) and my iPhone. Phone eventually froze. 7:00 am log in 8:12 am filled in the form for accessing...

No trash bags in trash cans - is this new for onsite resorts?

I have always asked for a roll on arrival. As above there are many reasons why they are needed, food scrapes are the least offensive reason. Used to be you could find extras hidden under the one lining the can. However, I am also adding to packing list as essentials.

    Possible travel late August

Thank you, we are also suffering from two years of cancelled trips. Have just got second shots, waiting for border restrictions to lift. Also planning Aug 29, 5 days at POP. DS is definitely missing WDW, no where else is the same.
