So I reserved a DVC resort for a short trip August but not planning on going to the parks. Will we get magic bands or do we have to buy our own?

My family is apart of the DVC and was planning on arriving in Florida a couple of days before check-in. What's the best DVC hotel to go to before check-in? Will there be any transportation from the hotel to DCP housing? Does it matter which hotel we choose?

I booked a reservation that cost 215 points for a week. However, I want to waitlist at a different resort for 266 points on the same dates. If I get off the waitlist, what happens to the 215 points? Will it go towards the 266 points at the waitlisted resort?
