    Star Wars night (After Hours)

Are non-Star Wars rides open during the event? The online description is not entirely clear.

Purchase Resale at BLT or VGF

P.S. If possible, you might consider renting points to stay a night or two at each property before buying.

Purchase Resale at BLT or VGF

I own at both resorts and love both of them. I frequently do a split stay so I can stay at each. As for whether BLT feels like a resort, it does to me. I feel relaxed immediately upon entering the gate! But for reasons I do not personally understand, some people think it is not Disney enough...

Dinner on first day after AK

I haven't been in the dining room for a long time, but I thought it was very good when we visisted maybe six years ago. I've been to the outdoor terrace/bar a few times in the last year or so and thought it was also very good.

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Owners & Lovers Group - 2.0

Yes, why would they do this? Would be expensive for no benefit.

    Cardboard Disney Gift Cards

OMG, what a nightmare. I just discovered this problem when I was trying to pay my DVC dues at the last minute. The Scandit tip was golden--I was able to read the EAN numbers on all but one card, and the one that was ambiguous only took two tries.

    Narcoosees vs Flying Fish

Flying Fish—no question. I ate at Narcoosee’s back in October and was a bit disappointed in the quality of the food. I remembered it being much better, perhaps close to Flying Fish but not quite there. Perhaps it was an off night. Flying Fish is always amazing and is my favorite restaurant...

I will put the room on temporary hold for you right away pending completion of contract and payment. I will then send a contract to sign using DocuSign and accept payment by Zelle...

Points for rent: 146+ VGF points @$17-18/pt

These are 146 VGF points (October UY) and must be used for a stay ending by 9/30/24. They have home resort priority at Grand Floridian. For stays seven months or less away, 80 points can be used for any resort; 66 can’t be used at Riviera or Disneyland Hotel Villas. I have extra points I can...

    Renter in Default

This is certainly a valid position. Personally I would rather give the renter at least one chance to cure before declaring a default, cancelling the reservation and keeping the reservation. But it is not required, that is for sure.

    Renter in Default

If you haven’t heard from them, I think the idea of changing the name on the reservation might spur them into action. The reservation will disappear for them on the Disney app. Thankfully I’ve never had this problem but I also require full payment on booking, with rare exceptions for people I...

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Owners & Lovers Group - 2.0

They are. Super nice, very clean and well maintained. A nice splurge but not cheap.

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Owners & Lovers Group - 2.0

I transfer all my new gift card balances to older cards of which I keep a picture, and the physical cards are in my safe deposit box. I’m confident no one has the numbers for the older cards.

The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Owners & Lovers Group - 2.0

$125 is roughly the price at which I bought my two resale contracts around 2014 (actually $119 and $124). All I can say is: Phew!
