I’m having the same issue. Called three days in a row and gave up after an hour. With the call volume and presumably staffing issues they have you would think they’d let you make changes online.

Is there a new cleaning fee? Last year when I booked thru Agoda I was not charged a cleaning fee for my Sept trip. Was looking today for another Sept trip and it wanted to assess a $113 cleaning fee during checkout. Is this new? Or did I somehow escape it last year lol

I’m going on almost 2 weeks since canceling. Still no refund. I’m sure they are just so backed up. 2 weeks does seem like overkill tho.

Looking at booking a vacation package thru Universal for the first time. My two questions are 1) I see they require at least a $100 deposit, is that refundable if vacation plans change and may need to be cancelled? Last time we went to universal we stayed at Cabana Bay. We loved the fact that there was a walking path right to the parks. Is that an option with this new hotel too? I thought I read Universal was constructing a walkway but I don’t see that info anywhere online anymore.

For our sept trip this year we booked thru Agoda. Came up when I was looking at reviews on TripAdvisor..at the time they were selling a 1br suite for $75 a night. I couldn’t believe it, so I reserved it right away. I think we paid around $380 for 5 days.

We were there last sept and the cinematic celebration wasn’t playing at all. Might be the same this year

So if I’m understanding it correctly it seems like I may have rented someone’s timeshare points? And that’s why it was so cheap. If that’s the case I feel a little better because we rented points before to stay at the animal kingdom lodge and had a fantastic time.

I think a 3rd Harry Potter section and a Nintendo section are pretty much a given. At some point I think they'll do something with the secret life of pets and trolls IP, but who knows where that'd go.

Yea I don't know if they upped the number of tickets they are selling, but it was unlike anything I've seen for a ticketed event.

One thing I forgot to add was that the locker system was sooo much easier than we anticipated. Our only other experience with lockers was at six flags and it was a terrible nightmare. I should have known that Universal would have been miles ahead of six flags haha
