Perhaps that’s a solution. Instead of DAS being opened-ended where it’s good til park close after a certain time, make it a 2 hour return window. That wont work for everyone but likely a quick visit to a blue umbrella can extend this if needed or you can likely just rebook another 2 hour window...

Exactly. They aren’t trying to reduce LL wait times. They’re trying to sell more genie plus. If this was the problem, then genie plus would be sold out on days the we observe long LL wait times. I was just there in last week & LL wait times were long AND genie plus was still available!

It’s unattractive as in how well it works. We never utilized das until fp plus was gone.

Why is “wait I have to scan first a red flag”??? I say that all the time because I have DS’ magic band because I can’t trust him with it & the rest of the party has no clue how it works so I’m constantly telling them the rules. I think it’s more of red flag if everyone knows how it all works...

Here’s an idea sell fewer genie plus! Increase the price so they make the same amount of $.

Yes we utilized FP plus & didn’t see the need for DAS although we qualified. We were just content to get done what we could with fp plus. But genie plus is expensive & nowhere near as effective so have started using DAS since we need it. I find this language insulting! Many ppl with children...

This! This is why we got DAS for my mil the last time she came with us. She got stuck in Navi river line after the ride broke & could not easily leave the line when she needed to.

Right but it will not stop abuse. Ppl know what they need to say. So it doesn’t stop abuse & just makes it more cumbersome for those who really need it.

And it really doesn’t cut down on abuse! There are many ppl officially diagnosed with a “developmental disability” who do have the ability to wait in line but may abuse the system just the same.

Right & it’s back to the money issue. Basically it appears to me that they want ppl with disabilities to PAY for genie plus too.
