I'm confused, are you thinking the lack of 5th and 6th FPs are due to the passholder block out dates being lifted? I'm pretty sure they are still blocked out until August 1st, so that wouldn't be the reason you are noticing less FP availability.

Yes, it's true. Cast member guest passes have been blocked out since Pandora opened. Makes sense obviously. They started being blocked out only on weekends after the 4th of July, and were supposed to be fully unblocked after Labor Day. They announced this week that weekends block outs in August...

I'm really not sure why people think Disney is responsible for keeping things fair. They're a business, and they'll do what's good for business. Bottom line, block out dates are subject to change. Hope ya'll don't get mad about the fact that they lifted the August CM guest pass block out dates...

The metro or a cab. I took the metro from downtown Shanghai and it was about an hour and it was super cheap. We took a cab back to downtown and it was maybe the equivalent of 25$ US dollars, probably took about 40-45 minutes. The airport is closer so travel time will be shorter.

Honestly, I don't have personal experience, but I've read a lot of posts where they've had to pay full price in pretty much every circumstance. I'm 99% sure they'll make you pay for two full priced adults, unfortunately. Other restaurants that aren't buffets or or prix-frixe allow you to share...
