I am planning to do ROTR tomorrow, too, staying at Caribbean. Had early flight today (on MDE right now!!) and doing 10 on Friday, so figured I may as well do early on Thursday too!!

Some of the ones near us have groceries, so we buy milk and cheese of it is on sale, even bread, crackers, cereal. With 2 kids that eat a ton, I can usually do $50 of groceries and get their bonus offers when they have them.

Totally feeling for those who had put off registering for the full! I was sorting out travel plans so only registered for the 10k when it had become un-sold out, but didn't make a decision on the 5k in time!! Hoping we see more bibs open up again!!

I called yesterday, trying to get AP discount for marathon weekend. cM said not released yet, said probably at the end of the month and then said mid-October later. Seems like they don't have info released to CM yet or he was confused (or both???)

Agree with much of the above. Would also add the parrot show at the entrance, they are incredible. We have also enjoyed the paths right around the Tree itself, seeing some of the aquatic exhibits underneath and looking at all of the carvings in the tree itself. And always hit up the characters...

Also A, that way you can hit up lots of F&W booths through the evening, you wouldn't want to show up full to MNSSHP with your other option!

I have done both and do prefer AoA, for the pools (the one right by the LM rooms is nice, as well as the big blue), the overall theming is much more likes the Disney I grew up with, and I found the food court was much better. Also the flexibility to wander over to Pop if you feel like exploring...

Agree with others. Either shopping at Disney Springs (with great meals) or resort hopping (with great meals). I love Poly, both Kona Cafe for breakfast and for drinks/Dole Whip later on. Monorail is great, I would be sure to stop at Grand F to see the lobby and listen to the musicians/ piano.

I think it really depends on your mindset. I like being comfortable, so when we travel with our young kids we stay deluxe, or offsite at a condo with lots of space. I was doing a solo race weekend trip and wanted too stay onsite for transport, but couldn't justify the price of a moderate for...

You should Google the secret menu at all Star movies, it is fabulous! I got it last time (in between 2 counters at the quick service) and it was a great experience. I got the hot dog (on my own, I do not recommended you tackle it alone!!) but would try the burger next time :)
