13mo will probably be fine since he/she won't understand any of it. Volume of sound effects (on all of the rides) was the biggest issue for our DD at that age--holding our hands over her ears worked pretty well for that. She hated HM from ages 4-8'ish.

Best to try to squish into 1 car if you can. These are "kiddie rides" but they can be loud and are in the dark so a parent on each side worked best for us when ours was young. Don't be surprised if your son does not react well.

It is LOUD and a little scary for younger kids. Mine was not into it until about 8.

We love AKL but I agree that Kidani Village was too far off the beaten path. I would stay away from Coronado Springs as well. Beach club is our home resort and still our favorite of all the villas we have stayed in. Location is good and the pool is GREAT!
