White whale question - party of 10, how to tour?

It really just depends on if you want to all be together at all times or if you are ok splitting up. Most of our trips over the years have been at least 8 people (and up to 12) so this is the norm for us. For the most part, we split up- if my family of 4 wants to do something that others...

Good Disney Springs restaurants?? Staying at SSR

Morimoto is fantastic and we usually go each trip but for basic american- definitely try D-Lux Burger. The burgers and fries are great and so is the chicken sandwich. We sometimes go there multiple times in a trip.

    Large-ish group

We often go with a group of 11-12 people and I've found that most of the restaurants that we've had to make multiple reservations at usually don't have a larger table but will sit 2 or 3 parties that are together next to each other or as close as possible.

Max people for ressie at Oga's Cantina

Not sure what the party limit is but we had a reservation for 8 in February. Once inside we were actually seated in a booth and then they put a party of 2 with us so you can book a party of 2.

    Crowds Last Week of February

The last week of February/First week of March is usually good crowd wise unless Mardi Gras falls that week. We've gone during that time multiple years and it's been great. This past Feb we went the week of President's Day and it was extremely crowded- busier than Spring Break 2016 and Columbus...

    Best brunches??

CA Grill Brunch is awesome- easily the best dining experience we've had at WDW.

    Best Character Breakfast

#1- Tusker House - it's the only meal we have to go to every single trip. The food is always hot and fresh, a huge variety, characters are fun, and the little parade is cute #2- Garden Grill- served family style so no getting up and down which is nice with little ones, chip and dale are always...

    Motion Sickness questions

I don't suffer from motion sickness but Star Tours makes me feel sick for about 20 minutes afterwards- I've tried it at least 4 times in the past 3 years and felt terrible each time. If I had to rank them in order of roughness I'd say ST, MFSR, FOP, Soarin. Try FOP first, if you feel ok with...

    Spending a week at Disney

Most of our trips are 8-10 days and we always get park hoppers. Our ideal trip is arriving in Orlando early (we fly out of Austin, TX and usually arrive around 10am), magical express to resort to drop off bags then head straight to the parks- usually MK until park close. The follow days we plan...

    Best Character Buffet Breakfast???

Tusker House- it's our only must do every single trip (even without kids). The breakfast is always hot and fresh, service is good, characters are great. Love it!

‘Ohana Dinner for someone who isn’t huge on spicy

As others have said, there is nothing spicy at Ohana. I actually find the shrimp to not taste much at all. There's not really that much entertainment during dinner- man walking around singing and playing a ukulele and sometimes something for the kids.

    California grille brunch-is it pretentious?

We had brunch at CA Grill for the first time on our last trip in February and really enjoyed it. I am not fancy by any means and am pretty plain. Brunch was very nice, service was fantastic, food was awesome, the whole experience was just really great. I was worried because my kids (9 and 8 at...

    Disney Popcorn Buckets- Question

It's probably up to the cast member but when we were at WDW in February we saw people refilling Halloween buckets so it's worth a try.

    What’s your favorite character meal?

Definitely Tusker House breakfast for us- it's the only must-do every single trip. Food is always hot and fresh and characters are great. We've even gone on adults only trips.

Bon Voyage on HS day with BG

Honestly it will just depend on what boarding group you get and there is no way of knowing that in advance. Just for reference, we've had group 14- called at 815am, group 22- called at 10am (but the ride started late that morning for technical issues), and group 40- called at 1230pm. From HS...

AP discount & paying separately question

It seems to be up to the cast member. We frequently travel as a party of 8- myself, dh, our 2 kids and my brother, his wife, and their 2 kids- DH and I have APs and DVC. We've been able to show my AP or DVC for my brother's bill which he pays with his credit card and DH shows his AP or DVC for...

Be Our Guest or Pecos Bill's

I would keep BOG- as others have said, you can easily try Pecos Bill's at another time (lunch or dinner). I really enjoy the turkey sandwich at BOG for lunch and you have to get a cupcake!

    Question about kids at Ohana

You'll still have to pay just for her to be there. I believe they'll bring out chicken nuggets, mac n cheese, and maybe french fries for kids, and a brownie for dessert.
