Disney Visa Epcot Character Meet & Greet

I have encountered both types. One that was very serious I could not know until we were in there. This past week, I presented the CM with colored markers and told him I was trying to decide which ones I needed and then told him who got what colors and he told me which one I would need. We...

They do. And they won't tell who is there until you go in for the surprise factor. Last week we got Mickey and Goofy, but you never know who before you go in. It is usually 2 of the main 5.

    Marathon day question

I know to expect increased crowds marathon weekend. I know it could take longer to get places. My question is....how much longer? We are staying at Port Orleans, French Quarter and are planning on Animal Kingdom that day. If open is at 9, what time should we try to leave our hotel?

Hi All! We are there January 11-18. at POFQ. I am nervous for Marathon crowds when we are very much NOT there for the marathon :) The extra hour events fall oddly in our plans, but I really want to try to make one of these happen, I am leaning toward an MK one vs AK one. Thoughts? We are...

We are planning on doing Sunday at MK too. I haven't really thought about how to get there yet, but that is our first day and we always do Buzz as our first ride :) ' I did read a trip report that was from January 2019 and they said Marathon day wasn't as bad as they expected. So maybe if I...

We are planning on a Jan. Trip so, I wanted to chime in and see what all are saying :) Also, if you google crowd calendar for WDW, you should find a couple of websites that show anticipated crowds and anticipated park hours. Of course, they are not from WDW so they are not set in stone, but...

    Autographs without character meets

We were a group of 70, 44, 18 & 19.....we did 2 character meals that got us the fab 5 and good number of princesses. After that we stood in line for a few that we felt HAD to be on our frame. It turned out great and is maybe my favorite get from any of our trips. I have not head of the...

Lions and Tigers and CGI Bears, Oh My! June '16 - COMPLETED 6/4, page 22

How Long is your Mid-Day Break?

I second the 2-3 hours. I had the same basic plan as you, but it was usually about 2-230 before we actually left the parks and we headed back anytime between 530-600. We were there in June so it was super hot/humid and we needed the swim break. Some of our party just rested in the A/C. I...

Help for Short Trip: hop to HS in afternoon, is a F! ADR waste of time?

I made a F! fast pass as my 5th FP+ a couple of weeks ago. It was after we had done most of everything else and about 2 hours before the show. Walked right in. I thought it was a good use of FP+ as my last one of the day.
